Houses in New Mexico and Cabins - Holiday Lettings - Holiday Rentals New Mexico
New Mexico, a sizzling southern state, has a rich history that makes holidays here truly spectacular. Its strong Native American and Latin American backbone is part of the reason for the state's unique allure. Towering bluffs and whistling desert scenery surrounds quiet towns where Aztec temples slowly crumble and Navajos weave blankets using time-honoured techniques. Quiet and filled with natural beauty, a New Mexico holiday is perfect for adventurers looking to get off the beaten path.
If you're visiting New Mexico, some of the sites you may want to check out include:
Red River Canyon: If you're looking for places to go rock climbing, you should start in Red River Canyon. The region also hosts an extensive network of hiking trails for outdoor adventure enthusiasts looking to explore the state's wilderness.
White Sands National Monument: In the midst of a pristine desert with fascinating wildlife, the White Sands National Monument is home to the largest gypsum in the world, and its dune-covered landscape is one of the state's most-photographed and iconic geographic features. White Sands is one of the most popular New Mexico National Parks, and offers some of the best New Mexico camping you can find.
Carlsbad Caverns: The second-largest cave system of its kind in the world, Carlsbad Caverns is filled with hallowed expanses, limestone columns and ancient milky lakes that hold secrets from bygone aeons.
Santa Fe: Bohemian and quiet, Santa Fe is a culture vulture's paradise, with a vibrant art scene and outstanding restaurants that serve delightfully flavourful dishes. Many of the best New Mexico museums are in Santa Fe, given its artsy vibe.
Albuquerque: New Mexico's largest city is also home to a healthy slice of the state's arts and entertainment culture, as well as fascinating Cultural Centers, unique architecture and engaging historical sites.
The desert climate and southern location give New Mexico warm weather throughout the year. If you're visiting in October, Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta is not to be missed.
If you're staying in Santa Fe, Albuquerque or another New Mexico city, renting a condo is an excellent alternative to a hotel, offering all the comforts of home with more space and privacy. Those intent on experiencing nature can have the best of both worlds by getting a cabin holiday rental in one of the state's many popular outdoor recreation areas.

Beautiful Modern Cabin INSIDE Santa Fe Nat. Forest
Perfect Week
My husband and I spend a week with our grown children in Santa Fe. This lovely cabin was the perfect place to stay. Cool, thoughtfully furnished, and with the sound of a babbling brook just outside the front door it was the perfect place to come back to after hiking and sightseeing. Great amenities included a good washer/dryer and a nice kitchen.
The cabin is conveniently located to both Santa Fe places north--Georgia O'Keefe country, amazing ruins, etc.
Brian couldn't have been more helpful, he was a super attentive host! …
