“Was recommened by a friend & now I'm recommending !!!” I stayed 4th of July weekend a Heart's Delight and couldn't have been happier with my stay. Our group consisted of myself, my boyfriend, his 14 year old son, and his son's friend. We had plenty of space in the cabin for all of us, nice comfy beds (and a pull-out mattress in the couch),a kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook at home, big TV and a clean bathroom. And the kids loved the fresh muffins left out for us on our arrival. However the best part of Heart's Delight is what is outside the cabin! Two beautiful lakes, huge backyard, and clean country air! One lake was for swimming (complete with several rafts),the other for fishing. We could hardly out of the swimming pond. It was nice the kids could entertain themselves running around the yard, swimming, playing video games(we brought our ps3), and exploring while the grownups had some alone time! This is a great place to stay if you want more out of your lodging then a small overpriced hotel room. It's private, it's clean it's at least double the size of a standard hotel room (for less!), and our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. We came to the Sandusky area to got to Cedar Point/water parks and debated whether or not to stay closer to the amusement park. I'm so happy we went with this cabin. The drive to Sandusky is only around 45 minutes and it's through beautiful countryside. So we got the best of both worlds! Fun(crowded!) park during the day and a country retreat at night! We will definitely be staying next trip to the area. Thank you again Mac and Darylss We had a wonderful time !!
