“A Month in Cuernavaca” We stayed at Villa Golondrina for a month in February 2011. It's located in a lovely gated community, convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants The on site manager was very responsive to all our wishes. We stayed in the terrace apartment. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on our outdoor terrace, overlooking the barranca. It was very convenient to call taxis to the apartment. We attended Spanish classes at Uniter, which is within walking distance of the apartment. Since we studied at night, we did not want to go to restaurants every night. We shopped at Costco and a nearby grocery store, and cooked dinners in the microwave provided during the week. The refrigerator accommodated enough frozen food, and was convenient for storing fixings for our lunches, which we brought to school every day. We found the apartment conveniently located to access the great restaurants in Cuernavaca when we went out each weekend. We did not use the lovely pool.

“The best vacation I have ever had” The staff are truly gifted. Regardless of your native tongue, these exceptional people will do everything to help you enjoy your stay. From assistance with travel to town, hiking, sight seeing, or just staying put and swimming, sunning relaxing in the mountains and preparing you the most outrageous foods you can imagine! I wept ~ really, when I had to leave. I am planning to return soon and staying longer. This is a magical place. The owner has left nothing to improve upon. It just gets better every time!

“An amazing and beautiful getaway, a rare gem and a fantastic exp” My boyfriend and I spent a month here and it felt like home. Although it is a private Villa, we got to know the owners who were wonderful, very helpful, accomodating and genuinely nice people. The home itself was built in authentic Mexican style, it was very bright (lots of windows), very clean and spacious, had a nice fully equipped kitchen and most importantly was very cozy and homey. The grounds of the Villa were also very beautiful! There was a very, clean and well maintained pool with a wonderful BBQ area with tables, chairs, lounge chairs for sunbathing etc, we spent a lot of time there! There were also so many beautiful flowers and trees and plants! It felt tropical, and there was even a fruit tree we had access to! We also had access to a washing machine and dryer and fresh water. Our overall experience here was amazing! The location of the Villas are in a wonderful area of Cuernavaca also with lots of restaurants, grocery stores, shops and banks within walking distance and also close enough to the downtown center. We had such an increduble stay at the Villas and in Mexico! We cant wait to go back!
