“A Precious Getaway” You take many chances in life and obviously choosing a vacation is always an adventure. You just never know what your going to find. We needed a real getaway and this island of Middle Caicos proved to be just that. Almost five miles of white sand,calm seas and crystal clear water were a welcome site considering our apprehensions to begin with. All this being said, the island people proved to be the best find, extremely friendly and helpful in every regard. Ice Robinson's smile will stay with us forever as will Junior Forbes attentiveness to our every need. The accommodations were almost beyond belief, to find this kind of quality in such a remote outpost was indeed a big relief. The marble walk in showers were a special treat. Granite counters in a full kitchen didn't hurt either. We were extremely lucky because the Lobster Season was extended for several weeks because of climate change ?? but no matter, we ate like queens. Check seasonal dates if this is an issue. Dont miss the opportunity to Kayak or Paddleboard at Half a Creek or Cow Hill Bay and be sure to bring your masks and snorkels... Unbelievable ! Just what we were hoping to find, an unspoiled paradise. Look up Dolphus arthur for deep sea fishing and his faithful sidekick T Boy who is one of the best at scrounging up Lobster dinners
