“Avoid it - very poorly maintained & overlooked by fishermen”

Very distressed to read this negative response as the guests in question only visited the property for a couple of hours. exposed Electric Cable was in fact a TV connection point , Broken window was repaired the next day,Village Fisherman are sometimes there briefly when awaiting the right tides and then gone to sea for the day . The fishing village is 5 kms away so no polution from the village but not impossible some local fisherman cleaned his catch in the sea .Guests never had a meal, experienced the staffs service, enjoyed a night , the pool , a sunrise. Very strong words after a 2 hour visit. In 14 years we have never experienced such negative feedback but relieved it came from someone who barely visited the place as we pride ourselves on the incredibly positive feedback we normally receive and the guest book in the lounge is full of amazing heartwarming praises from previous guests.
We are very sorry that these guests where so disappointed and only wish they had spoken to the staff and management or spent a little more time at the house before reacting as most of their concerns where either ill founded (live exposed electric wires) or of a temporary nature (broken window, fishermen on the beach )

The location and views are stunning, and really I just can't say enough positive things. We had a fabulous time and recommend it highly! …
