I really apologized for delay in responding, as I was out of the country on an emergency medical leave and had limited access to internet.
I do understand when guest visit tropical places like Maldives expect excitement and good weather conditions, to make the most of their stay.
In your stay you had to experience the worst weather conditions with continues rain and harsh and ruff sea conditions throughout. This is beyond our or your control.
However, arranging transfer or trips without informing to me is not allowed to our staff. In your case your trips was promised and charged without the knowledge of me. Which is not your fault, it’s my staff that did not fulfill his duty properly, and therefore we have taken serious action against him.
As per our normal procedure, on arrival we provide a mobile phone to the guest with all essential numbers such as owner, host, food delivery, police, fire etc… and we brief them if they feel anything doubtful from our staff or anyone to call the owner directly to void any such actions and resolve this issue on then and there.
With the experience of your issue we have taken these measures to void any further issue may rise,
I personally (as far as possible) will be meeting the guest upon arrival to the house.
I have already hired a manager who is stationed in the island and will be also in touch with the guest 24/7.
He is the only person allowed to arrange or provide all necessary documents on behalf of us regarding any additional service.
Every evening our manager will attend the guest to arrange all necessary arrangements for the next day according to the guest plan.
He will personally inspect the arrangements before guest attends.
As normal procedure all payment should be paid upon proving proper documents (such as payment receipt)
We have introduced special letter head for guest comments, where these comments are personally collected by our manger.
It’s a fact that where Maldives local public lives, no alcohol, poke or bikinis are allowed by the law of Maldives. And we also advise all our customers regarding the issue, however trips and excursions such as picnic, sand bank visit and other excursion are planned considering the issue to create opportunity to enjoy the beaches as per the guest will.
As promised to you, your extra trip will be refunded to you.
We take our customers issues seriously and we listen to our customers, and try to resolve the issue then and there, our constant intentions is to provide all the services as promised and transparently so that the customers feel that there are spending their holiday in their own home.
