“El Dorado - Heaven on Earth” I had the most restful, wonderful time at the El Dorado penthouse in Puerto Vallarta. The view of the beach is second to none and I enjoyed many hours listening to the sounds of the surf. There are tons of great places to eat and the beach is fantastic Oof! Heaven on earth!!

“Wonderful Month By The Lake!” We just spend a wonderful month in ajijic at Casa de Como. The location was perfect - we were just a block from the lake and two blocks from the plaza. Bob and Sharon are fantastic hosts, very helpful with lots of ideas for sightseeing and getting around the area. We did not have a car and found that the bus system is easy to use. We also hired a driver a few times for longer day trips which worked out well. Our casita was comfortable - we had a small kitchen for the few times we wanted to cook (usually just breakfast since there are so many restaurants within walking distance) and a lovely seating area by the pool. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit to Casa de Como!

“Casa Lani - A beautiful little home away from home” Casa Lani is beautifully furnished, everything you need is there. We originally thought it might be noisy being right on the Malecon but were we wrong! Having the balcony to sit and watch the people go by is a big plus, there are some real characters out there! The view from the rooftop pool is gorgeous! Having a communal bbq on the roof is a bit plus as well. Since it's mainly an owner occupied building, it's very clean, no fear of using the bbq at all. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Being at the end of the Malecon we originally wondered how safe it would be but once settle we realized that we were probably as safe there as we were in our own home. Would we go back? In a heartbeat! I've already given the link to Casa Lani to quite a few people and they've been very impressed with what they see. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get! We will definitely be going back!

“Awesome Hosts !! Very Cozy, Clean, Attractive apartment !!” I recently spent 5 weeks in ajijic...and rented the Casita #2 from Bob and Sharon. First...Bob & Sharon are such great hosts !!! They are always sooo friendly & will always take time to just talk with you about whatever is on your mind. They answered a lot of questions I had & are glad to offer suggestions about places to eat, drink, etc. (and also places not to). They even offered me a couple brewskies more than once...which I felt it only polite to accept (yeah right). The cleaning lady comes twice a week & keeps the place very nice, neat & clean. Also the "pool & yard maintenance" guy showed up twice a week & keeps the outside lookin good & freshly manicured (is that a word ??). and Bob...energetic dude that he is...is frequently spray-cleaning something...or trimming...continually maintaining a neat & attractive place. If and when I return to the Lake Chapala area...I will be sure to 1st check with the Howes to see if one of their apartments is available. Cheers to Bob & Sharon...their hospitality...& their whole place that is perfect for vacationing in ajijic !!
