“Wonderful mountain vacation filled with daily discoveries” Everything was as promised. Each day was a pleasant discovery of everything a cabin could include. Our teen kids absolutely loved the beauty of the cabin and surroundings. We enjoyed several campfires complete with s'mores and great conversation. We held a family game competition all week with the winner taking double-ice cream of his choice. My hubby grilled, my daughter baked, all took turns with dishes It was relaxing, peaceful, quiet. We are a family of bookworms and enjoyed time to read and reflect. The road coming in is steep and narrow so be prepared. Blue Ridge nearby has great hiking trails, shops, ice cream and cafes, all info in cabin for your convenience. Whether on a limited budget or not, there is something for all. “Private. Great location. Better than staying at a hotel.” I had a wonderful stay at Ben's guest room. It has a private entrance and you have complete independence from the main house. It is like a mini hotel room, with a comfortable bed, space to hang clothes, a stocked complimentary mini fridge, coffee maker, desk, etc. Also has an attached private bathroom with tub and ceiling heat (very welcome since we had a cold front come through the area when I arrived). Ben was a good communicator, always fast to respond when I needed anything. Nightlife, museums, parks, etc. are a short uber ride away, or walking distance if the weather cooperates. There was also on-street parking on the cul-de-sac if needed. Looked like the garden and porch would have been enjoyable in spring, summer or fall. Would definitely rent again.

“What I think...” The cabin is one of the best places we have visited. The setting is very nice. The cabin is built in a special way that makes it fun to stay in. Every thing was clean and in order to make our stay enjoyable. You can sit on the large front porch with a mountain view and relax in a hand made chair that takes me back to good old days. The humming birds are always fun to watch. The owners are some of the nicest people that we have ever met.
