“Great Durango House” We really enjoyed our stay at the Rincon Lodge. We were there for six days on a family vacation with my husband's family- his parents, sister, her husband, two nieces, and our family of 5. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, yet still be all together. Our favorite part of the lodge was the incredible views from the wrap around porch. The kids loved the large bunk room downstairs, complete with a closet full of toys! The location was great too!! A short drive from the airport and only about 20 minutes into downtown Durango. We felt it was the best of both worlds- secluded enough for peace and relaxation with amazing views, yet not too far away from all the attractions and things we wanted to do in town. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, but the furnishings are a bit dated, especially the TVs. Not a big deal since we weren't there to be inside much, but at the end of a day we still liked to relax and watch a movie. Scott, the caregiver for the property, was very attentive and helpful each time we called or needed him. Overall, it was a great experience and every one of us had a wonderful time!! Hope to be back soon!
