“Beautiful, Relaxing & Great Setting” We loved Acorn Cottage!! Beautiful setting, fabulous lodging & wonderful host. We had a long delay in arriving but it was well worth the wait. The front & back porches stretch the entire length of the house. What a living room! The rock fireplace is gorgeous & there is seating for 11-12 people. The decor is tasteful. The bedrooms are spacious & the kitchen is terrific. Liking to cook, this kitchen is a dream. Very well stocked with anything you need to make a 7 course meal. The natural setting is vibrant with wild life. This is the perfect get away from all the distractions of city life. Although it is slightly off the beaten path, it is well worth the quite and tranquility. The pond was fun for all.
