We were so pleased when we read your kind comment in our visitors' book and now you have left us this lovely comment on Tripadvisor. Thank you so much Jan! We appreciate your kindness.
It is always good to read what guests think of our cottage as everybody thinks differently about things and to read you enjoyed yourselves makes us think we are providing guests with a happy, comfortable stay, which is always our aim.
Glad you enjoyed sitting out on the verandah while the birds entertained you, and it was very considerate of you to give up your spa because of our water situation. Hopefully BH's water problem will be solved shortly but in the meantime we just all have to be careful.
It was a pleasure to have you as our guests and we do hope you will be able to return some day.
All the Best,

After a long drive from Canberra, what a delightful surprise. Olde world charm with every modern convenience. Comfortable bed, comfortable lounge plus cosy kitchen and a huge bathroom/spa combination… More
Well Alan it was a 'Journey's End' for you coming all the way from Canberra, and what a lovely title for your review. It sounds as tho it should be the title of a book or poem!
We are just SO grateful for your lovely comments and thank you for taking the time to write them. We are chuffed to hear you enjoyed your stay and settled down for a good holiday in the cottage. That was exactly what we hoped to achieve when we bought the place and set about to give it the 'yesteryear' feel, and from what you say we may be close to our goal.
If you return to BH sometime you may like to look at our other cottage called 'Ella's Place' for a bit of a change.
Have a good lead up to Christmas and we wish you all the best till we see you again.
