“Spectacular all around!!!” I had one of the most memorable experiences ever at the cabin. My dad and I rented the cabin for some much needed relaxation and bonding time. The owner, Jill, was so friendly and easy to work with. Though the directions in the welcome packet provided were easy to follow, my dad and I were traveling at night and when Dad became the slightest bit uncomfortable about the travel,Jill made herself available to help him find his way and get settled in. You can't beat service like that. Even though it was dark when I first arrived, I could tell from the exterior of the cabin that we were going to be extremely comfortable, but the best part was the inside. It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The website just doesn't do it justice. You have to see it for yourself. We were so comfortable. When morning came, we had the most stunning view of the mountains. I walked around outside and admired the location often during the weekend. The mountain trails are amazing. We later traveled to the country store down the road and checked out the views all over the blue ridge mountains. In the evenings, I chilled in the hot tub while my dad read his books and caught up on the news. It was a weekend of peace and quiet which is exactly what we both needed. Bliss! I can't wait until my next stay.
