“Awesome view, great/well-stocked house” The service from Jenkins was excellent and there are only a few things that would be nice to improve (maybe another TV, or a larger one; upgrade the washer and dryer). The house has an amazing view, especially of the sunrise. We had 11 people (kids and adults). Everyone was comfortable although sometimes it would be nice to sleep past the sunrise. However, there were no curtains for the downstairs or where the sofa bed is. The house is incredibly well-stocked with everything you could ever need. It is a great location within a few minutes from Blowing Rock, short drive to Grandfather Mountain, etc. The last two small streets to the house are a bit steep. Our favorite thing was the incredible view and our least favorite things were the small TV. A better broom or vacuum would be great for us to be able to keep the house clean (challenging when you have 6 kids there).

“Fantastic” "The Hill" provided an incredible location to enjoy a long weekend in Blowing Rock. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The layout worked ideally for us, as the master BR is downstairs and the two additional bedrooms and den upstairs were perfect for our two sons, ages 17 and 20. The location is great, just a short walk to Main St. It would also be an ideal rental situation for three couples.

“Relaxing with one problem” My family (kids, spouses, grandchldren) stayed 5 days in this lovely cabin. The location was great -remote, but still close to town. Ample room, lovely view, great kitchen. While we enjoyed the attractions in town, we also enjoyed just hanging around the cabin. Toward the end of the stay, there was an issue with the toilets not flushing right (drains do get clogged). Jenkins has apologized & sent us a gift certificate for a future stay. We definately would rent this great cabin again, in fact, the famly wants to make it an annual affair! Some of us even cried when we had to leave.
