“Peaceful cabin backs up to wilderness” We had a very nice stay at Woodland Breezes (a little pricey but it was a major holiday weekend). We had 6 adults and 4 children and everyone had a bed except 1 child who slept on a blow-up. The cabin is on a lovely and quiet street. It is on the outskirts of town but we liked that & it was not far to Vons/stores. We drove to downtown twice and it took about 15-20 minutes. Large open kitchen (well stocked), large dining table, and long couch that fit all of us! It is very dated inside but well-kept and clean. Jacuzzi was nice (in ground on porch). The best part of the cabin was that the backyard faced wilderness- just beautiful. We would book this cabin again (we have stayed at many Big Bear cabins).
“All the Comforts and More” Excellent service from day one to the very end. Loved that it is pet friendly and had a fenced in yard. Located in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet. The cabin had every amenity you could imagine except wine glasses. Would consider visiting again. Wish that the cabin had been located in Big Bear Lake instead of Big Bear City. Really enjoyed staying at the Sweet Pine Cabin.
“perfect quite getaway” Excellent little get away. The cabin had everything you could need and more! Very quite and comfy. Only downside would be you have to dispose of your own trash at another location, meaning you have to load up your car with trash and dump it yourself a few miles away. I would think for as much money I spent for 4 nights, trash should be included.
“Cozy” Reading other reviews and yes I agree the minor downfalls 1) parking - it was muddy so there is no pavement 2) one bathroom has only one shower head 3) one of dressers door was broken 4) shower pressure is low and water is either hot or cold. It is perfect people for a small size family of 8 due to size of the home. The house is not spacious and be ready for the stairs. My family liked the house because it was cozy and felt like we were in the woods. They did love the bath/jacuzzi upstairs. The house was clean when we arrived and had essential basic needs. Checking in and out was great service.
“best weekend ever!” I would just like to start off by sayingthe size of the house was beyond belief, its very spacious and there are plenty of beds for about a party of 12 to 15 plenty of silverware and when you arrive everything is very well organized and clean me and my group of friends could have not asked for more and we plan on coming back very soon we had the impression that Big Bear is known for their winter time activities but this is also a great summer home!!!
