Log cabins in Asheville: Find luxury hot tub cabins
“Loved our stay at Tranquil Glen” The cabin was clean, well stocked and a perfect place to spend a quite Christmas week with family. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Owners were quick to respond with answers to questions.
“Most adorable mountain escape in the Smokies” No space was wasted in these adorable bungalows with their eco-friendly, sustainable styles. My boyfriend and I and our two medium/large sized dogs had plenty of room to lounge indoors and outside. My boyfriend and I enjoyed cozying up in the bottom bunk behind the curtains and on the futon upstairs to watch movies. When we weren't getting comfy at the bungalow, we took a short drive to DuPont State Park, Pisgah Forest, the Biltmore Estate, or downtown Asheville. My boyfriend's biggest concern was seclusion since the other bungalow is right across the courtyard, but the two couples we met during our one week stay were a lot of fun and it was really cool getting to hang out them. We decided that any visitors that can appreciate the quirkiness of the bungalows as much as we did were already our friends.
“Secluded Coziness, Perfect for Family Bonding” My fiance and I along with our pup had an absolutely wonderful time at Wolf Branch Cabin. The cabin itself was so cozy, and it was so easy to feel at home right away!
Tammy was great to work with from the beginning to the end, and she had the cabin kitchen stocked with everything we could need! The TV and Internet were fine, and there were board games and books for entertainment. There were plenty of towels, linens, and even cozy blankets to keep warm. She does a great job of providing instructions, and was available to contact by phone.
We arrived to the cabin with fall foliage all around us, and we enjoyed hiking around the area thanks to maps that Tammy had provided in the cabin information booklet.
The cabin is so secluded, and yet we were still close enough to town that we were able to take a day trip out to Asheville. It took us about 45 min to downtown Asheville.
Though we arrived in perfect fall weather, while we were there, the weather pivoted overnight and snowed about 7-8 inches! The electricity, heat and gas were unaffected by the sudden weather changes, and we had a great time playing in the snow. At first, I was worried because of the drive down the dirt road in the snow, but it was surprisingly easy and we had no problems. Like the other reviews, a car with 4WD/AWD capabilities is strongly recommended.
Overall, the cabin and experience was so lovely. We enjoyed being away from all the business of work life (my fiance had some cell service, but I did not) and the area around the cabin was so beautiful. We had some chicken/rooster visitors too! We highly recommend Wolf Branch Cabin, and we will definitely be back again!!
“Very comfortable!” We stayed at the Mountain Laurel Lodge for our annual family reunion. There were 10 of us and we spent a great deal of time in the home due to some rainy weather but felt so comfortable and at home. All our needs were taken care of by this well stocked rental with private spaces for everyone. We loved the secluded setting in the trees yet were so close to all the activities of the area. The large porch areas provided nice ourdoor time surrounded by the green of the trees and the sound of birds. Very relaxing! The kids had a blast with their own upstairs play area yet the open floor plan allowed us to still feel connected to them. We couldn't have been happier with this vacation home and highly recommend it for families and large groups.
“Wonderful stay!” My husband and I joined friends who also stayed on the property. We had a wonderful time! The highlight, besides our fellowship time together, was the warm and over the top hospitality given by Kaye and Dave! They invited us to a bar-b-que with all the "fixens"!! Delicious!!
We stayed in the Farmhouse and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the spaciousness, the very comfortable bed, and the large furnished deck that we enjoyed watching the fireworks and stars from. Counting the days before we can return again!
