“Very hospitable and enjoyable” Sunset Sweet is just outside Weaverville near Asheville, NC. It does have a dirt driveway but is quite accessible. We chose there as a place to stay out of Asheville and inexpensive but it is quite accessible to Asheville also. We had just spent some days nearer town. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also quite accessible. Our hosts Sharon and Gary were great and willing to help wherever they could. The space was very good including bedroom, bathroom, a small fridge, coffee and tea, and use of a separate living room, a bonus. A breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt and homemade muffin could be had in their kitchen or outside on several decks and porches.Good conversation ensued. The steepish trail out back has lots of spring wildflowers which unfortunately were over in July but others were evident. Some swing seats and benches afforded rest and views. The fireflies at night were good to see and the view is good over the hills. The Stony Knob cafe and Well Bred bakery were two eating places we went to and they were very good. I would highly recommend both. Weaverville is a pleasant small town. The two dogs are very friendly and docile. All in all a very good place to stay and great host and hostess. .
