“Great Vacation Rental!” I absolutely loved it! It was very clean and very spacious for a couple. I love how it even had dishes and pots and pans to cook. I had took everything and didn't even use my stuff! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

“Incredible experience! A luxurious cabin away from home in the” Wow, from the moment we made the booking our experience was outstanding. We were looking for a quiet, romantic retreat in the Hill Country close to the lake and stumbled across this place. It is an absolutely beautiful, cedar log cabin recently built nestled in the hills of Canyon Lake and only 10 minutes walk to the lake. The cabin is extremely well done with high-end fixtures and fittings and attention to all the details. They even provided corn to feed the numerous deer on the property and cedar planks (very appropriate) to cook salmon, trout etc. Unfortunately the fish weren't biting so we did not get to use them! The kids loved to explore the wooded area and the small creek running the length of the property kept them entertained for hours. Lots of good restaurants in the area including the Italian Garden and the Baja Grill located at the marina where we ate outside watching the spectacular sunsets over the lake. After dark we enjoyed time on the huge front porch star-gazing and strumming the guitar the hosts had graciously provided. This is really a wonderful and unique place and somewhere where we will certainly return.

“Peaceful Retreat” Where do I start to describe this little gem in the pines?! This cabin is small but packed with charm! The owners left no details undone when putting together this fabulous retreat in the woods. Clean, comfortable, and with current amenities that meet all your needs, we loved being away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and simply enjoyed listening to peaceful night sounds while gazing upward at a sky full of stars through the pines. The owners gave us clear directions to the location as well as recommendations to nearby restaurants if needed. We were there for antiques Week in nearby Round Top and after a full day of walking around in the Texas heat, totally loved going "home" to this little cabin hidden away in the woods! Can't wait to go back...perfect!

“Private getaway weekend” The Romantic Red Room cabin was great! The bed was super comfy and the room decorations eclectic. The name "Romance Room" is right on - there's no furniture other than a bed and some nightstands, so you can't get distracted sitting in a chair or watching tv. If you want to sit around, you can sit on the porch, or one of the other tables and chairs nearby on the grounds. The bathroom is a detached building, right next door, and the property is private enough that going to and from was not an issue. I really liked the patio on top of the restroom building. You're up in the trees, in the shade, where you can listen to the birds and relax. Bethany was really helpful planning my trip and offering suggestions of nearby things to do (Cypress Valley Canopy Tours zip lining, the StoneHouse winery, and angels restaurant/bar). “Two nights of relaxing in the Eco Blue Loft...” Stayed two very relaxing nights in the Eco Blue Loft. Definately the most unique place we've ever stayed. Very much a work of art through the hands of a craftsman with random, untamed design plans. Loved all the windows and their locations. We were able to share a bottle of wine on the loveseat and see the stars through the ceiling windows. Slept in the loft with yet another view of the stars. All this while having complete privacy, with floor level curtains that span the front of the room. Kitchen was quaint and very usable. Wooden sink was a first. We had all of our meals in, much to our enjoyment. Enjoyed the porch in morning for coffee and in the evening for the sunset. Felt a warm welcome that made it easy to relax. Will return.

“Perfect tranquility in the hills” It's easy to overlook great places like this - but this one offers great hospitality from the owners as well as a great location that was every bit as peaceful as it is beautiful. Myself and the other guests were impressed from the start with the cabin, from the homeliness of the interior to the thoughtful small details such as the provided iPod speaker dock, a set of movies, and reading materials. It's clear the owners take pride in the place, and are enthusiastic to share it with others. Pictures do not do this cabin justice, if you are looking for a place in the hills west of Austin, look no further!
