Taliesin sleeps twelve adults in luxury. It has many decks to relax and take in the stunning views. Heaven for the bird watcher as it is steps from the bird reserve. Feeling energetic you can swim in the heated 10m pool or the safe waterways. As it is steps from the beach you could swim there.
A daily house keeper looks after the house and you so this is a real holiday for all!
It has been designed to make the most of the Knysna light and breezes with many windows and high full hieght ceilings.
The area is stunning and there are many things and places to explore.

The apartment can sleep upto four. The four bedroom house upto eight and the main house twelve.

Taliesin can either be rented out as a six or four bedroom house depending on the beds needed. There is also a two bedroom apartment which is rented out when the house is vacant. This makes it a very special apartment as it has the sole use of the gardens, decks & pool of the main house. All the beds & linen are of a very high standard so you will get a great nights sleep. There are many restaurants in the area. The small island boasts three.

Parking is in an automated garage. There is room for two cars. Taliesin has it's own boat dock. If you don't have a boat it is great to fish off. The island being private is very secure and you will see many children cycling around without the adults. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sue (the owner) a message.

If Sue (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
