Choba bay Beach Villa is an exclusive property set in 6 acres of magnificent tropical garden. That unique lovely Villa is located in the tanzanian coastline, 7 Km north Pangani village. The property overlooks the blue waters of the Indian Ocean and has its own lovely beach.

Ideal for visitors who are looking for an exclusive, private retreat for a relaxing time on the Swahili coastline of Tanzania (just facing Zanzibar archipelago).

Experience a quiet paradise out of the mass turism ! Very rare and unspoiled...in all security. Some others lodges and restaurants are in the area.

The rental includes assistance of a staff to pamper you during your holidays. We recommend to choose the Full board service (only 20 usd/person for 3 delicious meals/day) to enjoy relaxing holidays like an hotel !

Choba bay beach villa (250 sqm) has been built iusing local materials : wood, coconut tree leaves, natural coral stone etc in the swahilli style : local thatching and spacious rooms ensure a good circulation of air.

The Villa offers three spacious bedrooms 45 m2 (ensuite bathroom) with stunning sea view, a large shaded verandah where we take the meals and rest (2 big day-beds and 4 long chairs). We also have another cottage which can accommodate up to 5 persons in one dormitory room (can be a double room only). Just enquire and we will see how to accommodate your group.

The house has a separate large kitchen, a big sofa place, a BBQ area outside as well as a nice shaded beach area with long chairs and mattresses, a private stair to go to the beach where you will feel like Robinson Crusoe .

This beautiful property where coconut trees undulate with many indigenous trees such as mangos, lemon, oranges, bananas trees, creates a tropical paradise for private parties, families or groups.

You will hear many birds during the day and bush babies at night ! (a massaï warrior is they're to watch on your security at night).

The uniqueness of Choba Bay Villa is its privacy, the beautifull environnement and the peacefull atmosphere, the friendly local staff and an exciting choice of activities to enjoy your holidays.

Note that this is not a 5* luxury place, but a fancy beach house . This is a home from home where all the staff is doing his best to make you feel happy.

The setting is beachfront, surrounded by coconut plantations, mangroves and ancient coral cliffs, a really idyllic hideaway from the crowded turist resorts.

Staying at Choba villa is like having a true African experience, in harmony with the Nature and its surroundings. We organise your tours, snorkelling boat tour experience in magnificent remote corals, safari in the wild etc..

Thank you Tamas for your fantastic review. It was really nice to host you and you are most welcome again. We also organise transfers by car from/to Arusha and Dar (it takes usually 5 hours). Some guests choose the Cessna flights to arrive in 20 min ! The snorkelling experience boat tour at Maziwe island marine park is just amazing, a must to do ! How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jo (the owner) a message.

If Jo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
