Villa Serenity features two bedrooms whose vibrant decor adds life and energy to the interior contrasting nicely with the neutral greys of the floor and wall coverings. The first air conditioned bedroom has two twin beds which can, when pushed together and covered with a plush mattress cover, become a double bed. The room is set off by louvered windows allowing a soft glow of light to permeate while offering a view of the carefully manicured flower beds where red and green fountain grass surround miniature date palms. Passionate about gardening, the owner desires to create harmony between the vegetation and the dwellings. This is shown by how tastefully the plum-colored flowering plants bring out the exterior wall coverings. In the second air conditioned bedroom, traditional jalousie windows allow you to contemplate from the comfort of your bed the exceptional view of a coconut grove with an emerald green sea as a backdrop. The perfect place to let your mind roam…

The bathroom boasts a walk-in shower topped with a skylight offering the luxury of showering with a sky view. A small teak deck will lead you there, bordered by flower beds and dwarf papyruses mingled with sea-worn pebbles. A bamboo ladder serving as a towel rack rounds out this natural setting.

The functional and fully-fitted kitchen offers an unobstructed view of the sea thanks to a large picture window whose frame is cleverly used to store serving trays. The kitchen is built around a bar featuring vintage stools repainted in white. Citrus colored interiors infuse this vacation home with energy; a second picture window opens onto a peaceful living space. Turquoise walls interspersed with jalousie windows allow warm, natural light to permeate the area. Reproductions of palm trees also adorn the walls. A large square wooden table is a convivial place for meal time, while the children have child-size school desks at their disposal for their snacking needs. The living area adjoins the dining room equipped with vintage wicker armchairs topped by a vetiver thatched structure lending the space a truly authentic air. This natural covering provides necessary shade during the hottest hours of the day. Low coffee tables from Bali and vintage books on Martinique complete the decor. From the living room, you can directly access the swimming pool surrounded by a Zen garden where aloe vera grows alongside large earthenware jars. A thicket of brightly-colored heliconias and palm trees provide for privacy around the pool. A smooth concrete terrace covered by a modern-style rug and citrus colored lawn furniture provide a perfect suntanning spot under a parasol.

Opening onto a coconut grove, the second terrace, inlaid with terracotta tiles manufactured at the famous pottery located in Trois Ilets, provides two additional places to unwind: one covered area for a sunset cocktail while comfortably ensconced in a braided wicker armchair, the other uncovered to fully take advantage of its sunbathing potential while accompanied by a backdrop of windsurfers effortlessly skipping along the surface of the water. From this terrace, a little terracotta-tiled path will lead you to the second part of Villa Serenity. This elegantly furnished blue cottage can accommodate an additional four people. An open terrace with a view of the garden and the sea allows you to take advantage of the sun while a covered area boasts two Acapulco style chairs whose smooth lines will envelop you in comfort. The owner has taken care to place books on Martinique in all the rooms of the dwelling. You will be sure to find one that interests you while relaxing around the house. The first bedroom, decorated in turquoise and pink tones, features two twin beds which can, when pushed together and covered with a plush mattress cover, become a double bed. This bedroom has its own private bathroom. Rainbow-colored bedspreads and throw pillows brighten up the pure white bed linen. The second bedroom, just like the first, has a mahogany-colored parqet floor and gray panelled walls. This cozy room, with turquoise furniture and anise-colored curtains and bedside lamps, boasts an exceptional view of the sea. Lastly, the bathroom adjoining the second bedroom is decorated in a boudoir spirit, with its little pouffes and sheer curtains. From a triangular cut-out in the walk-in shower, you can, without being seen, peek outside and admire the beauty of nature, or use it for its original purpose: keeping an eye on the children!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
