We are proud to offer your choice of the MASTER BEDROOM with private ensuite bathroom (for up to 2 people), OR the FAMILY BEDROOM with shared bathroom (for up to 3 people), in our spacious 112sm, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo overlooking beautiful Puerto Galera Bay. It's cheap enough for a lone traveler, or the perfect place for a couple or small family, looking to experience all the beauty of one of the Philippines most famous SCUBA diving & nightlife destinations.

Surrounded by a jungle of green, the condo is located in a peaceful, upscale neighborhood, with foreign owned estates & top resorts as neighbors. It's a great retreat from the crowds and noise of White Beach or Sabang, which are both still just a simple drive away.

The property is right on the MAIN ROAD--an easy 5 minute ride by tricycle or a 15 minute walk from downtown Puerto Galera. In the other direction SABANG is a 10 minute tricycle ride, or an invigorating 45 minute walk. Also a convenient 1km walk or ride to the beautiful, peaceful Encenada Beach.

An ADVENTUROUS 300m Path goes right from our property down to Puerto Galera harbor with access for our boats... In the opposite direction, another very steep 100m path, goes right down to the beach, that's just 200m from Encenada Beach.

Enjoy lounging in the large living room, with a 50" TV offering ~60 international channels and dvd player (There's also a tv in your private room).

Or spend your time enjoying the ocean view, and music on the iPod/iPhone stereo, out on the 35sm COVERED TERRACE.

Please NOTE that your bedroom itself will NOT have a view of the ocean--unless the door is open! Its window looks out over the GARDEN.

Electric fans in all other rooms keep the whole condo nice and cool. The inside area is kept immaculately CLEAN, to avoid mold, dust, pollen or other allergens.

Everything about the condo & your stay is FULLY FURNISHED. Complete bed linens, towels & toiletries, as well as everything you need in the kitchen, including all plates, bowls, cups, glasses, pots & pans, and a stove, turbo broiler, oven, BBQ & full size refrigerator. We also have a washing machine, drying machine and clothes lines for drying.

We have 3 daughters, so we have an extensive collection of children's TOYS, electronic games, and books if you take your child along. We also have a rather extensive library of BOOKS on hand for you to borrow.

And best of all, we are happy to include an English speaking FULL SERVICE MAID within your rental rate. That's Right, from 7am to 5pm daily, you will have a trustworthy, eager, smiling Filipina lady to clean the house, wash your clothes and cook your meals, not to mention share a friendly chat, at no extra cost...Or, if you want some extra privacy, feel free to send her home early...How can you beat that?!

Did I mention that I'm a Marine Biologist, Dive Master and experienced local Tour Guide? Yup, I'd love to help you explore all the beauty of the local area. I can just give you advice & help you plan your daily adventures OR I will be happy to lead you on daily excursions, anywhere around Puerto Galera, as your full service TOUR GUIDE all within your rental rate (excluding my food & transportation costs)...

I have been living in Puerto Galera permanently for 8 years, so I know all the local sights, activities, culture and pricing structure very well. English is my first language and I am fluent in Tagalog (Filipino), so I can be the perfect INTERPRETER for my guests, especially if it's your first time to the Philippines. Note that many Filipinos speak English, but not all of them, and most not well, or with an accent. So having me help you in conversing for travel instructions or to get better deals can be a big help!

I offer this service because it is a great opportunity for me to get out, practice my guiding skills and stay current with everything going on
in my beautiful town of Puerto Galera. I have experience getting the best prices on all of these activities. I do NOT take a commission or overcharge on any of them. I can do this because I have another real job--I do this just for fun!

Additionally, I have a nice camera that we can use anywhere on land, and an underwater camera to use on boats, snorkeling & even diving! I will be happy to shoot photos of all the adventures throughout your stay....That way you can keep your hands & mind free to enjoy the moment.

I will transfer all the images to your laptop or send them to you by email at the end of your stay! Many people say this service is the "icing on the cake" about why our condo is the best place you can choose to stay in Puerto!

To top it all off, each morning an UNLIMITED BUFFET BREAKFAST of fresh fruits, eggs, bread, meats and other delicious treats, plus coffee, tea, milk and juice is included for all guests!

All other MEALS can be cooked for you here by us, but we will need to plan ahead and you will pay for the ingredients. Also included all day long is an UNLIMITED supply of juice, iced tea, coffee and purified water for drinking, cooking and brushing teeth.

Unlike many accommodations in Puerto Galera, we have very STRONG CLEAN WATER pressure, 24/7, and a great hot water shower.

Also unlike many other places, we have a Quiet GENERATOR on site, that will be turned on in case of occasional town power outages, at no extra charge.

We have a locked, covered GARAGE, to safely park your car or motorbike.

Free WIFI works great (by Philippine internet speed standards), all around the condo for up to 5 devices.

You are also welcome to use our color printer, scanner and computer, in moderation, all for free...We also have a reliable phone service that you can use to make local or INTERNATIONAL CALLS to anywhere in the world, that we will let you use totally for free--again, in moderation.

We have 6 sets of SNORKELING GEAR that you can use any time, for free! Now that's a great deal because this gear would cost you at least $4 (p150+) per set, per day to rent, if you were lucky enough to find somewhere that had them!
You can also borrow beach towels to take to take on your adventures.

We also have an inflatable stand up PADDLEBOARD and a 2 person KAYAK, as well as children's life jackets and floatation devices, all of which can be borrowed any time, for free.

We are happy to just point you towards the water, or guide you on your ocean adventure at no extra cost.

We have access to a proper boat that can fit up to 10 people, and we often arrange ISLAND HOPPING for our guests, at a very reasonable rate...This is probably the best way to truly experience the finest natural qualities of Puerto Galera and a lovely way to spend a day of snorkeling with the fish & corals, playing and enjoying a scenic picnic on remote island beaches!

We can also arrange luxurious private SAILBOAT cruise charters around Puerto Galera or beyond.

Puerto Galera is world renowned for having some of the finest tropical coral reef SCUBA diving in the world. If you love the water and already dive, or want to learn, don't miss your chance!

As a Dive Master, I can also help you get all set up for SCUBA diving at an excellent local dive center and even be your personal dive guide, all at very affordable rates!

Did you know that even if you've never dived, I can arrange a safe and exciting Discover SCUBA Diving course for you that only requires 1 hour of classroom studies and then you go for 2 great beginner dives, all for a very affordable rate!

We can organize free round trip transport to X-TREME SPORTS, where you can enjoy paintball, lazer-tag, go-cart racing and 4-wheeler mudding, as well as sticky-wall, zorb ball, and a mountain zip-line!

We can arrange MOTORBIKE RENTAL for your stay at discounted rates. We can also arrange bicycle or motorbike tours around the island of Mindoro.

SABANG is an extremely popular destination for foreign guys, famous for its vivid NIGHTLIFE and I'm familiar with all the hotspots, prices, local rules and culture. It is just a short ride from the condo and I will be happy to accompany you there on your first visit, to make sure you are comfortable and have the most possible fun.

WHITE BEACH is a beautiful, very busy and exciting beach that's extremely popular with Filipino tourists, and famous for having great sand and tons of beachfront food & drinks, shopping, and water sports activities. You can get there easily by tricycle and I will be happy to accompany you, so you can get the best rates and can take full advantage of all the FUN White Beach has to offer!

I will happily be your guide to take you on mountain jungle hikes to secluded waterfalls, island hopping to pristine beaches, to native Mangyan villages, to enjoy the views at a beautiful mountain golf course, to adventure sports destinations, or any of 30 other interesting activities, all for free!

We do have 2 very friendly, clean, vaccinated dogs on the premises, that would love to be your new best friends, but if you don't like dogs, they will be relocated for the duration of your stay.

We also have a 700sm hillside backyard with garden and ORCHARD of fruit trees, where you're welcome to enjoy nature.

SMOKING is allowed on the covered terrace or anywhere outside, but please make sure your butts end up in the trash, not on the ground.

The neighbors are always quiet, but you're welcome to be as loud as you like, day or night. We have no problem with you throwing a PARTY with your friends--heck, the maid will even help you clean it up in the morning, no joke :) Just please don't break anything!

If you meet FRIENDS, you are always welcome to take them back to the condo for the day...
IF they spend the night and eat breakfast in the morning, they will be considered as an extra guest and you will pay the small additional guest fee of $8 (p350) per extra guest per night.

We will be staying in the 2nd bedroom during your stay. You will notice that we are around, but all our guests say that it actually adds to the positive experience. We are very friendly people and devoted to making sure you have a great time in Puerto Galera. You are also welcome to JOIN US EATING whatever large delicious meal we cook for lunch or dinner, as long as you help out with ingredient costs.

Any guest who is 10 or above, will be considered an adult and be charged as an additional guest.
Guests from 4 to 9 years will be charged at 1/2 the additional guest rate. This is necessary because all children will still have their own bed linens, towel, clothes washing, toiletries, and daily breakfast...All children 3 or below stay for free.

Notice we don't charge a security deposit, or cleaning service charge and we offer a fair cancellation policy...Just trying to make you stay memorable and keep our price competitive!

GETTING AROUND:

GETTING HERE:
You arrive at the airport in Manila. Take a taxi to the Buendia bus station in Manila. Take the Jam busline from Buendia to Batangas Pier. Take The MSL (Minolo Shipping Lines) outrigger boat from Batangas Pier to Muelle Pier in Puerto Galera. We will meet you at Muelle Pier with free transportation to your condo.

It is also possible to rent a taxi straight from the airport or your hotel in Manila to Batangas Pier, at a higher price...If you have any questions, just contact us for more details.

HOUSE RULES:

There are no specific rules at our condo, just the obvious...Please treat the place with respect, don't burn it down, let me know if something gets broken AND have a BLAST.

As your HOSTS, we can be as hands on or hands off as you like...On the first day we will pick you up at the pier and give your keys and a full overview of the property.

You will have a full time maid around to help you daily from 7am-5pm, unless you want privacy.

You will have a personal Tour Guide available daily to help you plan each day, or actually accompany you on your adventures at no charge, if you wish.

We can help you go to the local market to buy ingredients for cooking at home, or just give us a list and we'll go buy it all for you ourselves, providing you with all the receipts, at no extra charge.

We will be around all time, day or night, to do whatever it takes to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

All prices include daily breakfast, bed linens, towels and toiletries for each guest, as well as a full service maid daily & clothes washing, tour guide daily, use of water sports equipment & WiFi. Base price is the same for 1 or 2 guests & after that additional guests are $8 (p350) per guest per day, up to a max of 3 guests.
