The first thing you notice with this apartment is the View: Table Mountain, Robben Island - all from comfort of the sunny balcony. The apartment is one of the only truly beach front complexes in Blouberg. Most other advertised apartments are 300-500 meters back from the beach.
15-20 minutes to Cape Town and the waterfront, and the same distance the other way to numerous wine farms.
The apartment is at the very highest end of the market, furnished to 5 star standards, with secure underground parking and every mod-con you will need to make your stay in Blouberg an exciting and memorable one. You can enjoy your sundowners from the balcony which overlooks the golden sands of Blouberg Beach with views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. THE VIEWS REALLY ARE BREATHTAKING.
Flights from the UK generally arrive early in the morning. If there is no booking staying overnight on the day of your arrival, the apartment will be made available for your use as soon as you arrive.

The Western Cape region
Holidaying in the Western Cape is like having a decades worth of holidays rolled into one. The gorgeous beaches, with their views of the unmistakable Table mountain, the amazing wine routes, the historical significance of Robben Island, amazing botanical gardens of Kirstenbosch, shark diving, whale watching, seal Island, swimming with penguins at Bolders, Two Oceans Acquarium, game reserves and the picturesque Garden route drive. Portico is located in the perfect spot: Beach on your doorstep, sandwiched between the Cape Town Waterfront and the Winelands (15 mins either side).
Cape Town / Blouberg area
Portico is located on the beachfront of Blouberg, approximately 15 minutes from Cape Town centre, and 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. The Durbanville Wine Route starts just fifteen minutes away, and further a field, the Stellenbosch and Paarl Wine Routes can be reached in 45 minutes.
Closer to home, there are bars and restaurants alongside the apartment, whilst cinemas, a large shopping complex and banks are within 5 minutes by car. One of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls can be found 10 minutes away at Canal Walk (the largest Mall in Africa), as can Ratanga Junction, a themed entertainment park. The Grand West Casino is 10 minutes drive away, and if you are feeling active, there are 2 gyms (Virgin Active and Planet Fitness just round the corner).
There are 2 local golf courses within 15 minutes of the apartment, and the Cape Town Waterfront shopping centre and tourist attraction is an easy 15 minutes drive away.
I can highly recommend the Blue Peter bar and restaurant down the road, where the canny locals go for a 'sundowner' whilst watching the sun disappear over Table Mountain.....
How to get there
Many airlines fly to Cape Town direct from the UK, and all the major car hire companies have rental stations at the airport. The apartment is an easy 20-25 minute drive from Cape Town international airport.
