“stunning apartment in excellent location” Apartment Stanislas is an extremely well appointed apartment situated in a fine, late nineteenth-century building. Although it is situated on a busy thoroughfare, traffic noise is not really a problem, mainly due to the third-floor location. In fact, the sight of the trams ferrying passengers to and fro can be quite hypnotic. I had to drag myself away from the windows at times. The specification of the fixtures and fittings is of a very high quality. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well organised and equipped. The shower in the main bedroom en-suite is particularly good. This was my first visit to Krakow and the city itself certainly didn't disappoint. The Jewish quarter with its quirky shops, restaurants and bars is very close indeed. In addition, a fifteen-minute walk takes you to the attractive main square. The castle, a must-see attraction, is approximately twenty minutes away. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Apartment Stanislas as a very comfortable and spacious base for any visit to Krakow.
