“Great views out the front, lovely area” The views from the front were difficult to tear yourself away from. Easy to stroll down to the tiny harbour and wander over the paths at the headland. Great place to be based for a longer stay than the 3 days we had. Enjoyed the meal at the Rusty Mackerel at Teelin , great walk and views of the slieve lieg- didn't get around to having a Guiness at the local in Kilcar. Very pretty rivers with stopping places to sit or wander along. Michelle was very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The fire was lit when we arrived which was welcome as it was fairly late and getting a bit nippier. The upstairs was particularly toasty. The place had all you needed. It was a very quiet location and we enjoyed watching the hares and birdlife. There were two local shops that we saw but it was a quick jaunt to Killybegs and we enjoyed the local produce available from the supervalu supermarket, munching it on the fantastic beach Funch? something - a couple of kms on the way back from Killybegs. Should have taken my swimmers!
