“The view was awesome!” We loved staying in this unit. It had everything that we needed, and the view of the ocean was spectactular! The bathrooms could use a little updating but everything was in good shape.

“Time stopped” A very relaxing vacation. The longest we have ever had, in a good way. It seemed as if time moved so slowly. We called it "Emerald Isle time!" It was awesome being right on the Ocean and will certainly plan on that from here on out.

“Wonderful!!!” The cottage was super. Only had one problem and that was we had ants in the kitchen. We took care of that by buying a bottle of Terro and putting it in bottle caps. Didn't see any ants the last 2 days. The pool was fabulous. Can't wait until next year to go back. Glasses and silverware didn't look clean, but I think it might be the water there. Probably need a water softener or something.

“Very comfortable and relaxing.” We loved the house, for it's comfort and layout. Very nice, but not fancy, perfect for a beach house. A couple of items were needed, a broom and a few more drinking glasses. Other than that, the house was well appointed.

“Great Location & Breathtaking Views” The house is a little outdated and the basement rooms were a little dark, (I called it a rustic beach house). But it was clean and comfortable and the view and the location were the best we've ever had and that's what made it a wonderful place to stay. The outdoor shower was very convenient, especially coming off the beach with our dog. We had to cut our trip short because of Hurricane Earl, but enjoyed every minute we had there and will be returning next year. The staff was very helpful and made sure we were notified of evacuation plans as soon as they knew of them. Overall, we had a great time and can hardly wait to go again!

“Awesome vacation!” This is a fabulous house! We so much enjoyed our stay that we booked again for next year. The home is nicely furnished with up to date, good quality ammenities and very comfortable. The mattresses and pillows on the beds were good quality too, not something you usually find in a beach rental. Location cannot be beat! There were some minor cleaning issues upon arrival, however, nothing serious. The realty company, once they were made aware of the issue, was quick to offer to have someone come over right away; they could not have been nicer. We would definiately recommend Shorewood Real Estate and angelfish Cottage!

“Looking at the Ocean with more than the comforts of home!!” Our stay at Metro was so comfortable and relaxing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. Two outside showers were awesome. The kitchen was very well equipped with the large pantry for all our groceries. We enjoyed the decking out to the dune with a bench. We used it morning and night. No complaints whatever!

“Great vacation home!” We enjoyed our week in a Reason To Be! It was very comfortable and well-equipped. It was a little farther from the beach than we had thought, but still a short walk. Might be too much of a distance with toddlers/babies in arms. Otherwise, great place and a great price!

“Great Location & Property, Very Clean and Spacious” Great location right on the beach w/in walking distance to the pier but not too close. Very clean--no bugs, no mildew. Game room downstairs w/tv was great for the teens. Double futon and single futon in game room was nice extra sleeping space for the kids. Large bedrooms and closets. Tvs in all bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked--had everything we needed and more. Nice enclosed hot/cold shower outside w/a separate changing area. Wonderful rental on a beautiful section of the beach.
