“Spacious villa, well appointed” If you are looking to rent this villa, then do. The pictures available online really do justice to the villa. The living area is spacious, the seating is comfortable and the TV is HUGE! The kitchen is well appointed with just the right amount of crockery, cutlery and utensils and a super American fridge freezer. There is also a cooker and dishwasher - we didn't use either as we ate out every night. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable, plenty of room and hangers in the walk in wardrobe and the shower in the ensuite is wonderful. There are 3 other bedrooms, all quite small, but very comfortable. There is a small laundry room with a large washing machine and dryer leading to the garage (which, although very large, couldn't take our Suburban). In the garage were a variety of beach stuff like parasols, chairs and inflatables. The outside area on the lanai has a well kept swimming pool, lots of seating (one dining table with chairs and a variety of conversational seating areas). There is also a BBQ - again we didn't use it as we ate out. The air con is wonderful - we visited in May and it was very humid, but the house was extremely cool! I could not have chosen a better villa. The villa is in Cape Coral - a man-made canal based city in the south west of Florida. We were on a golfing holiday and didn't drive more than about 45 minutes to some wonderful courses, but as we were visiting out of season, our commutes were apparently around half the time than they would have been in the high season of December to Easter. There are some great eateries in the area - our personal favourite was the Monkey Bar...strange mix of excellent food and really awful, but truly brilliant, karaoke. Would I go back - yes to the villa, but I wasn't a fan of Florida - its too flat for me! I like a view. We played Sanibel island golf course, which wasn't anymore than a block from the sea, but I couldn't see the sea at all. Being from a rather hilly country (Scotland) I found this most disconcerting. Huge thank you to Danielle who owns the villa for her good taste and to Charlie and the maintenance staff who work hard to keep the villa in tip top condition.

“Beautiful house and your own boat! It doesn’t get much better” Before arrival, we found the Bayside website very informative with useful links. It told us a lot about the property, the area and importantly the boat.Not many properties come with a boat and this was very attractive. Renting a boat independently is both more expensive and complicated. The whole reservation and payment process was easy. The house is tastefully decorated and has 3 lovely bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen and a comfortable lounge which are all very clean and well appointed. Tom provides a very helpful folder of instructions which came in handy when we wanted to listen to music out by the pool. It was particularly helpful to have all linens, towels, paper goods, trash bags provided. The pool area was great with 2 loungers and a table which seats 4 in the shade. The pool itself was in good condition, very clean and regularly maintained. We spent all our time at home by the pool and barely used the living areas of the house. Books and Board games are provided and also beach chairs and a cooler for your trips to the beach. There is a wealth of leaflets and maps in the house providing ideas for days out. The boat was a huge success, helped by the valuable instruction by the coast guard captain.Docking on to the lift became easier with practice. We ate at Rib City a couple of times and had a nice take out from the Chinese restaurant nearby which was fine. We drove to Marker 92 restaurant one night which had a great atmosphere and some good food. We found the house very comfortable and peaceful which was just what we had wanted. The bathrooms were great and came fully stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and liquid soaps. We slept soundly in the master bedroom. Beware the gardener comes at around 7 am on Wednesdays! Painful after sitting up until 3am the first Tuesday putting the world to rights and drinking far too much wine. We would stay here again.

“Great house, great location and superb sunsets!” We stayed here whilst on a golfing trip to the area and had a wonderful time. Greg and Hazel looked after us perfectly, without ever intruding and their arrangements for our arrival went very smoothly. They supplied plenty of information both about the house and about the local area, with recommendations and brochures for restaurants and places of interest, which was really useful. Everything visitors would need is in place- a really well-equipped kitchen, a clean, well maintained pool, and a pool table area for fun evenings. The house is laid out with bedrooms and bathroom on either side of the house so that we and our friends had privacy when needed. The house is nicely furnished and decorated too. There house also overlooks a small lake and it's great to sit there in the evening, on the pleasant decking, with a glass on wine, watching the sun go down and observing the wildlife. Whilst not overlooking or very close to the beach, this is a short drive away. We appreciated more being close to the food shopping and some restaurants, which are only a two minute drive or a 10 minute walk away. We verdict is... highly recommended - comfortable, easy and good value. Thank you Greg and Hazel.

“Great house, Great Location” We stayed in Conway House for two weeks in Feb 13. It is a really well-kept property and its location - on a small, family-occupied estate just off the Tamiaimi Trail and minutes from shops, beaches and the restaurants of chic down-town Naples - could not be better. During the day there is so much to do, from 'posh shops' to long beaches, fishing, dolphin watching, sailing, boat rentals, state parks, golf, delightful Naples zoo, the Trolley Bus tour, the Everglades, nearby Saniebel and Marco Islands ........ Of course, just spending time at Conway House has its own attractions, including the lovely pool. At night there are several restaurants within a short walk and lots more within 15 minutes' drive. We have no reservations about the Conway House experience and will be back!
