“awesome” forty beautiful women arriving for an amazing Kara'sweekend getaway!!! family and friends .. what a fantastic adventure!! Lodge was so comfortable and welcoming. indoor pool was perfect for champagne lunch,hot tubs overlooking mountain vistas, chef cooked all our meals ,maid service,chapel buiding where we discoed and line danced ... bonus was a day at Dollywood minutes away tucked into a magnificent natural forest setting. our best getaway yet by far!!

“Most bang for your buck” This cabin has everything in it for a fully fictional kitchen. There are drawers of utensils, a stand mixer, pans, bowls.... You could cater out of it. We found this really helpful since we tried to stay in and make most meals. We only had to get food, everything else was in the kitchen. The view off the porches is awesome and you can see fireworks every night! The downstairs game room is cool and a place kids could sleep for privacy in the upstairs bedroom. There is only one shower, inside the bedroom. That could be a little unconventional for more than 2 people or more than one couple. The drive up the mountain can be a little scary since you can't see the road ahead of you or any cars that may be coming at you and it is several steep 270 degree turns. Granted, we were in a manual car. It's perfectly located right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, though times to travel are longer because of traffic. We love it! It's very peaceful!
