“Great House in San Miguel Neighborhood” My family and I rented this house for 3 weeks in May of 2009. My husband and I have three children, a 4 year old 3 year old, and 8 week old newborn (when we stayed). This house was perfect for us - the accomodations are even nicer than the pictures online. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well stocked. The grocery store is only a few blocks away. The upstairs has 3 lovely bedrooms and they even set up a portable crib for our new baby. My older girls shared a room with twin beds and the room was big enough for them to play in as well as had a TV / DVD combo so they were able to enjoy a movie. Off the living / kitchen area there is a wonderful patio with seating, grassy area and jacuzzi. Since the weather was warm when we were there we turned off the heater on the jacuzzi and used it to cool off. The house is about a mile from town, which is a great walk, but it's also easy to catch a cab ($2.00 to town center) or to jump on the bus for practically nothing. The town of San Miguel is also wonderful and we never tired of it during our 3 week stay. There are so many great restaurants and coffee houses not to mention great shopping. I have been to Mexico several times and I have never enjoyed the shopping like I did there. We have nothing but great things to say about the house and lots of great memories. I would recommend this house to anyone.
