“Beautiful Home in Perfect Location” This lovely home is in a perfect location. An easy walk to the main town square, Mega grocery store, library, restaurants and markets. It is very comfortably furnished, well maintained, and the kitchen well equipped. The property manager and maid are both delightful to deal with and very helpful. The owner kindly contacted us during our stay to make sure everything was okay and see if we had any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful home.

“Hospitality near everything you want to experience!” Robert and Jane have created a beautiful setting located on a level street with five minute access to the shops, special events and restaurants that surround the El Jardin, the central point of cultural activity. The casa is beautifully decorated with local furnishings and art. We especially liked the design of the casa that provided ample casual sitting areas to get to know others but allows privacy in your suite. Our suite opened up to the roof top garden which offered views of the surrounding areas as well as the opportunity to observe street vendors delivering their wares by donkey. While the setting and location are superb, what makes Casa Carolina del Sur is the caring service and delicious meals prepared by Berta. Her menu offerings go beyond the local delights and she studies other cuisines to add new menu items. We really enjoyed seeing the local events, sampling the restaurants and shopping and look forward to a return visit soon!

“Great House in San Miguel Neighborhood” My family and I rented this house for 3 weeks in May of 2009. My husband and I have three children, a 4 year old 3 year old, and 8 week old newborn (when we stayed). This house was perfect for us - the accomodations are even nicer than the pictures online. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well stocked. The grocery store is only a few blocks away. The upstairs has 3 lovely bedrooms and they even set up a portable crib for our new baby. My older girls shared a room with twin beds and the room was big enough for them to play in as well as had a TV / DVD combo so they were able to enjoy a movie. Off the living / kitchen area there is a wonderful patio with seating, grassy area and jacuzzi. Since the weather was warm when we were there we turned off the heater on the jacuzzi and used it to cool off. The house is about a mile from town, which is a great walk, but it's also easy to catch a cab ($2.00 to town center) or to jump on the bus for practically nothing. The town of San Miguel is also wonderful and we never tired of it during our 3 week stay. There are so many great restaurants and coffee houses not to mention great shopping. I have been to Mexico several times and I have never enjoyed the shopping like I did there. We have nothing but great things to say about the house and lots of great memories. I would recommend this house to anyone.
