“Arrived as Strangers, Departed as Friends.” Our accommodations were suitable for both my wife and I, despite the fact we have opposite requirements for a pleasant vacation.. She enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the option of having all the sun her little body desired with the roof top patio.. I on the other hand preferred the spacious shaded courtyard outside our unit to just relax in, reading and enjoying the ambience of palm trees,waterfall, lots of green vegetation and most important to me, having "complete privacy".. Being centrally located afforded us the opportunity to be virtually anywhere within 10-15 minute walk to eating establishments,church,bar,beach,groceries,Walmart,bus and liquor store. The unit was clean,spacious,functional, bright,well furnished and was quite comfortable even having friends and family joining us for a few weeks.It was great to have satellite T.V. and most important, internet connection to keep in contact with friends and family. Our host Don was the most accommodating person we have ever dealt with in over 20 years of vacationing in the Baja, and needless to say we are looking forward to not only renewing our friendship with him and his family next year, but also keeping in shape walking Rusty,

“Relaxation at it's best!” From the minute we arrived(Brett and Britta met us at the airport to show us the way) until our departure this was one of the best vacations we have had. This mini resort is in the heart of "real Mexico" just a short drive to shopping, restaurants and beaches. We stayed in a beautiful well equipped, spotless, private Casita and had the pool to ourselves several days while other guests went site seeing.The grounds are beautifully done while keeping the natural feel of the area. We felt like we were staying with friends and were even invited to join them at a special private celebration they were attending. We also had a delicious Valentines Day potluck dinner with Brett and Britta and the other guests at the party palapa beside the pool. There are several large grocery stores just a few kilometers away so having a car is convenient. For a reasonable fee the owners will do a small grocery run before your arrival. The owners were a wealth of knowledge regarding what to see and do in San Jose. If you are looking for a large resort with all the trappings of every other resort, then this may not be for you, but if you want to feel like you have truly visited Mexico, made new friends, seen new things,and enjoyed nature at it's best, relaxed like never before, then this is the place to go. We look forward to returning soon.

“Great Quiet Place” This is our second stay in 301 penthouse. Love the views, furnishing and size of condo. It’s so relaxing and quiet. Quick walk to beach and very nice infinity pool. The hot tub has never worked while we have been there. But it’s too warm to use anyways. This is not a good place for teenagers. Just nothing for them to do or any other teenagers to hang with. Great place for adults and girls/boys trips if looking for place to relax. The city of San Jose about a 12 minute drive. There are lots of great restaurants, bars and upscale shopping. It’s called the art district. But make sure you go to Buzzards GREAT FOOD and wonderful staff. Also note that during off season there are a lot of early works taking and driving up and down roads. Will return again.
