“You won't be disappointed” This was a once in a lifetime vacation for us so we were nervous that the place wouldn't be all that it was advertised to be. We were not disappointed. The location is perfect, right on the beach, close to the activity hub of the pier and a short walk to restaurants and groceries. The waves at the beach are mild and great for beginning surfers. We stayed in the first floor unit and it was so much nicer than many of the other rentals in the area. It looked like the house wasn't intended to be a rental because there are so many luxuries that a landlord wouldn't want to pay for, like leather couches, granite countertops, frameless glass showers and more. We had a lot of people over and easily slept 10, four in the living room and two in each of the three bedrooms. Edward and his family - staff were very pleasant and easy to work with. They keep the place well maintained, even having an extra bottle of propane on hand for when the barbecue ran out. The washer dryer is a nice amenity for those wet towels and bathing suits. Parking is impossible in the area so the one parking space in the garage is a big benefit not found in all the area rentals. The garage and alley are pretty tight, but we fit our Honda Pilot in with a little coaxing. The garage was a great place to keep our boogie board, surfboards and bicycles. The trip went without a hitch and we thoroughly enjoyed the unit and our stay.

“Perfect place for our Southern Ca family vacation!” From the moment you walk in the door and put down your bags, you will feel comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful condo/town house. Everything is new and very clean and the neighborhood feels safe and quiet. The space was perfect for our family of four - our kids enjoyed having the tennis courts and pool just steps away. The location was really great too. Huntington beach is a 5 min drive and so easy to find. We spent 2 days there and also explored Laguna Beach which was only a 25 minute drive down the coast. Terry and Yvonne are wonderful hosts - very responsive to questions via text or email or phone calls. They really care about your experience during your stay. We hope to be back and stay in this home again!

“A real home from home...” In truth the apartment is probably better finished than our own home - but the atmosphere, decoration and cleanliness of this property, and the efforts of the owners to provide helpful and practical information combined to give us a week at Dana Point / Strands Beach that would be hard to beat. We loved the short walk to the beach (or take the funicular if you prefer!), and the chairs, boogie boards, blankets, towels etc made it so easy to enjoy spending time there. The apartment is light and airy, fittings are great quality and the kitchen is very well appointed, with lots of appliances that you'd use at home but might not expect from a holiday let
