“Cheers to New Year's Eve!” we were searching for a place to rent a few years ago for a long new year's eve weekend, and came across angela's full moon farm. we loved the fact it was a green house and were intrigued by the pictures. we arrvied to find a place that was truly magical -- a toasty retreat tucked back from the road amid newly fallen snow. there were six of us, and we had a fantastic time cooking in the chef's kitchen (great stove!), reading in one of several cozy corners, and going for midnight dips in the hot tub. it's also close to a picture-perfect little 1820s town called rensslearville that you must check out while you're there. really a perfect getaway. (and we've been back twice since!)

“Immaculate and comfortable” We had a great stay. With 4 adults and 3 kids, I was a little concerned about space, but this apt worked out beautifully. The owner was very helpful in showing us where to find the bus stops and nearby restaurants, all within just a few blocks. Taking the ferry into NYC was very convenient and we never had to wait for more than 15 minutes for the bus or ferry. I would highly recommend this rental.

“Peace and Quiet” We got the 3-bedroom apartment, all 3 floors. There were plenty of towels. Kitchen was well-stocked with plates and utensils. Large refrigerator held all of our food for the 3 days we stayed. For some reasons, there were many flying bugs the first night we arrived but less later (maybe because of the rain the day before). Some ants got into the house but that was a minor issue. There were plenty of beds and they were comfortable. Tips: pay for the parking spot next to the apartment. It is more convenient than parking in the street. Also, take the ferry to Manhattan. It is free and nothing much is free in NYC nowadays.

“Quiet cabin in the woods with hikes nearby” Camp Hatteras is a real find and served our purposes very well. We were two couples who get together once a year for a hiking trip, this time in the Adirondacks. The cabin is indeed quiet and there is no sight nor sound of humans anywhere close. It is very close to the VIC (Visitor Interpretive Center) at Paul Smith’s College, which has several delightful trails through the woods and the wetlands. Also, many other trails are near. The owners live nearby and were at our door within a few minutes when we mentioned a couple of small issues. They were dealt with successfully. The Internet isn’t blazing fast, but works. The cabin shows that it is well-cared for and clean. I am so glad we chose to stay here rather than in the congestion of Saranac Lake or Lake Placid (the lake may be placid but the town isn’t).

“Wonderful Home In a Beautiful area!!!” I fell in love with this home the first day I walked in. With the spacious rooms and wonderful living areas its the best home away from home. All luxuries at its finest. Grand views of the lake all year round. Minutes from local restaurants. The communication with the owner for the property is quick and efficient. The owner is one of the most thoughtful and caring rental relationships you could ever have. The neighborhood is wonderful tucked away in a small town right on the lake. Still close to the city and other attractions. I would stay here every season. I will be back thats for sure.

“A Fabulous Indulgence” I literally just wanted some time off to spend with my kids and husband and a few close relatives and friends but didn't want to go so far away. It must have been through the grace of God that I came across this ginormous house and for the price the owner was asking for...practically a steal! I'm so happy in the decision I made in renting this home as opposed to just practically handing away my money to a hotel/resort, everything was conveniently close by, beaches, shops, theaters...there was even a guide book at the house that came in really handy. My kids loved the pool so much that it was difficult keeping them out. My husband enjoyed the outdoor BBQ and looked cute working the grill as well. This house has everything anyone could ever ask for and I mean everything! It was completely furnished, kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, cookware and utensils. Everyone enjoyed spending time together but the best part is that everyone got to go their separate ways at night in their own bed rooms with their own TV (def a must if you're a soap opera fanatic as I am). The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was the check in (3 pm) and check out (11 am) time, it was a little too late and definitely too early for my taste (mostly because I really didn't want to leave). I def recommend not only this house, but the owner as well...very pleasant woman, it was like dealing with a family member...she was very welcoming and will most definitely rent from her again, am already counting down the days to my next vacation.

“Homely and Perfect Location” We stayed here for two weeks "working holiday" in January (during which there was an 8" fall of snow one night!) and the apartment was delightfully warm! It is comfortable, homely and in a great location - a 10 minute walk down to Greenwich Village, likewise over to Chelsea, and two subway stops each just 4 or 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and a good supermarket on the doorstep. Spacious with high ceilings and two lovely feature fireplaces. The kitchen is small, but fine for a short stay and simple cooking! The owner Scott was a pleasure to deal with - helpful, courteous and prompt in answering any questions. We hope to return.

“Wine Enthusiasts” This home was absolutely perfect. Everything we needed, hoped for and or wished for was there. Lots of restaurants nearby, very close to all the best wineries and minutes from the beach. The house had beautiful landscaped grounds, lots of outdoor seating and tons of lounge chairs with grill and outdoor kitchen complete with fridge, wine cooler and separate ice maker...extraordinary is an understatement to say the least. Absolutely loved this house, location and grounds.
