“Perfect!” This cottage hosted by Craig and Jill Hupper was the perfect place to spend our time in Maine. The cottage was great for the two of us, but could easily fit a family of four comfortably. It was appointed extremely well with everything needed for our stay. Super clean and well maintained grounds. The view and sunsets were awesome. Morning coffee on the dock and afternoon cocktails on the lawn. There are a couple of general stores and restaurants nearby, and the ferry to Monhegan Island is a few minutes down the road. (Take the early boat to have plenty of time to really see the Island). This cottage really became home to us. we were sad to leave, but our stay was wonderful and we hope to return another time. Thank you Craig and Jill.

“Great Out of the Way Vacation” My wife and I have been going to Oar Island for years. We absolutely love the Island and the surrounding area. We've stayed in the cottage and the cabin as well. We prefer the cottage but the cabin has it's own unique charm. The island is a beautiful place to relax and truly unwind. If you're looking for nightlife this is not the place to go. It's secluded, quiet and peaceful. There are great towns in close driving distance for antiquing and entertainment. I can highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique and a bit on the rustic side. The owners are also wonderful to deal with.

“Quintessential Maine Lake Camp” We had a family gathering on Pitcher Pond and loved our time at Moose Tracks Camp! The owner was very helpful and attentive and the property was private, quiet and on the best part of the lake! A well stocked kitchen, excellent bathroom and outdoor shower, comfortable beds and easy access to kayaks and all kinds of water fun! Looking forward to returning to Moose Tracks next year!

“Review of Finch Cottage” Absolutely loved staying here for a wonderful week in July. The price was reasonable and the central location was within walking distance to so many things - market, ice cream, beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The cottage had everything you would need to for a fun vacation and the owners were so helpful if you needed anything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

“A wonderful hideaway right on the water” We loved staying at White Rocks, despite the fact that it rained the entire week! The place is small and cozy, and has everything one could need, including a full kitchen if you like to cook, and a generously sized bathroom with stall shower. And right out the window (and just off the wonderful screened-in porch, is the mighty Kennebec River, full of seals and seabirds. White Rocks is fairly isolated and does not have WiFi, which for us was a difficulty since we freelance and need to stay in touch with clients. But the country store nearby had connectivity so we were fine with that. The cottage is served by a private well and the owners supply bottled water as well if you don't like the taste of well water. The surrounding property is lush and well cared for, and Gerry and Mark are welcoming and accommodating. All things considered, it was comfy and easy, and a great place for some true R&R.

“Enjoyed my stay” I visited with my girlfriend and stayed about a week. We purchased 5 wholesale lobsters for $25 on the way in, and ate lobster rolls all week! Really clean house, loved the outdoor patio for drinking my morning coffee. Plenty of space for two, so definitely bringing people next year. Overall I had a great time. The Nespresso machine was a nice perk as well! I would definitely stay again, thanks for the good times.
