“Bright and cozy” We stayed here over Christmas while visiting my daughter and her family. The condo was clean and decorated nicely with all the necessities. Plenty of towels for both the bath and the pool. Pool and hot tub area was well maintained and a lot of fun. Rental agent was fantastic and took care of everything we needed.

“Best value on the beach.” We loved our stay at Purple Parrot. This was our second time to rent this unit. We also had family renting at the Purple Parrot in neighboring units. The purple Parrot is perfect for families. From the large pool and volleyball courts, to the gated neighborhood feel, where the children/preteens could walk around and we felt comfortable with in them doing so. At night, the children would swim in the pool (we have older children) while the adults enjoyed the fantastic bands (reggae and rusty grits) at the tiki bar. There was also great food! We came during Labor day and were welcomed by Tropical Storm Lee, but that didnt stop the fun, the kids also enjoyed the indoor pool area! Our unit itself was very clean and comfortable, bright and cheery. We love the purple parrot! We will def book again...and again! And for the price, it cannot be beat!

“Home away from home” Our family had an enjoyable vacation. We traveled to Florida for the Nations Baseball Ultimate World Series the first half of the week it was beach relaxing and the second half was baseball. Our entire team stayed at the condos and everyone had an outstanding stay. Our condo had everything you could imagine and more. All we brought along were clothes and groceries. The pool was awesome my 5 year old had a fabulous time. The location was excellent, it was just far enough from the hustle of the city but close enough that we were able to be where we needed to be within 30 minutes. Our family would definately stay here in the future. :)

“Wonderful, close to everything.” Staff was friendley. Condo was first rate. Clean, and everything worked as it should. Close to everything, beaches, fishing, shopping, resturants, and NaS. We come from a much cooler climate, and the ac was a life saver. We were there for the 5th Marine Scout Sniper Reunion. The pool gave us a great common area to meet and hang out. Everyone had a great time.

“We so surprised how awesome it was...” We are a family of four and it was the perfect size for us. Much nicer than a hotel. The spot in the back was so quiet and relaxing. Both pools were nice, the staff super helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

“We will be back !!! Best vacation ever !!!” This was our second stay ! We celebrated our first anniversary the week of Halloween! Awesome!!! The week between Christmas 2011 and New Years, we choose to stay here again and had the best vacation yet! We adored this quaint resort, loved the condo as it made us feel at home, loved the area, beaches, restaurants etc...we will definitely be back!!! Jd, the property manager checked on us to see if we had everything we needed! Now how is that for service!!! “great stay” The condo was great. Three bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths was wonderful. It needs more kitchen supplies but for a group of 6 friends it was perfect. The location was not the best. A car was needed and the cab rise to and from the airport was expensive.

“Relaxing and a great home away from home!!!” We just returned home from an awesome stay at Dues Paid. The home is so cozy and decorated so wonderfully and we really loved it. We actually "contributed" a little larger grill and 3 new beach chairs as the grill that was there was a bit tiny and we found the beach chairs were broken. Hopefully they will still be in good shape when we return which we are definitely planning to do with our son and his family next year. They will, of course, need to find another house to stay in but this is such a wonderful place to stay, that I'm sure they will find one they like. We loved Johnson Beach and the Sunset Grille and can't wait to come back.

“Lovely” Let me first say that The Purple Parrot is a great place to stay. Jd and the crew are great to work with, friendly, and above average for customer service. The Purple Parrot is not on the beach, but it is extrememly close. I suggest Johnson's Beach or Perdido State Park, which are just a minute or two down the road. There are also several great places to eat within a mile or two. There isn't much shopping, but who needs that when you've got the beach (Pensacola is close enough, you can drive there to shop) The Purple Parrot is a terrific value. Now my opinion of 40C. The location is great because you are steps from the pool, but far enough away that you don't get the noise (if any). I thought the kitchen was stocked ok. They could add a few items, but all in all it got the job done. My only complaint about 40C was the queen bed in the master. It was very stiff and I ended up sleeping in the kid's beds many of the nights. I would highly suggest the owners get a new mattress. Other than that, it was nice. We have stayed in several other condos at the Purple Parrot and while I might like their decor better and they might be a little better stocked in the kitchen, I do like the location of 40C the best.

“Great Vacation Home” In all honesty, I can't say enough about this property. We opened the door & it felt like home !! The property is very well cared for, the pictures you see are real photo's :) washer & dryer right at your finger tips :) beach, right down the road. What more could ya ask for ? The people there were all real nice. We will definetly be back !! Fyi, don't leave anything on your front porch after dark, the racoons love to get into trouble, lol.

“Had a great time !” Web site and on-line reservations and communications worked perfectly. Check-in was fast, friendly, and helpful. Condo 46CD was clean, comfortable, and convenient for us; first floor suited us; distance from unit to parking was only negative (I'll bet parking is a real problem during peak season). Internet was a plus. Johnson Beach has been our favorite for 4 or 5 years and Purple Parrot location works very well for us. Would consider this location again next year.

“Awesome family vacation resort!” Service was great.....Pool could be crowded but because of the layout it didnt seem like there was many people - even if there were. All of the staff there were friendly and helpful! The only complaint we had was the parking - at times we had to park almost 9 condos away from where ours was located. Other than that, no other complaints! We look forward to coming back next year!!

“Very Nice, Would Recommend” My wife and I stayed at Perdido Key Resort in the Island Paradise Condo. The condo was awesome. Bed was extremely comfortable. Place was very well kept and had everything you could need. The pool was great too! We loved the Lagoon style pool which gave it a resort feel. We really wish that they had the Tiki Bar up and running. Although they played music, a little live music, a frozen cocktail would have made things even better. I notice a lot of the travelers who stayed here commented on this as well. You really think about getting the Tiki Bar back in action... Thank You

“Great” I stayed for a very long time, because I was there for military training. During those 6 months, I never had any issues. The condo was comfortable and felt like home very quickly. The staff was very friendly and wanted to help in any way they could. The rocky ground gives the property a unique look but my car was always dusty, but that would be my only complaint and what a minor one it is!!

“Nearly Perfect” The vacation home was excellent in every way. Clean, comfortable, close to the pool. It had everything we needed and I mean everything, even down to an ice cream scoop. The staff was friendly and professional. The pool was clean, we loved the waterfall. And the live music. I was surprised to learn that the bar and the pool (when the bar is open) were both open to the public. Didn't like that at all. But I would stay there again anyway.

“Very quiet and relaxing!” My wife and I stayed in the away From It all condo a couple of weeks ago and honestly, we could barely get out of bed after that first night because the bed is so comfortable!!! The condo is very nice and even though this one is situated in the middle of three other condos, there was virtually no noise at all, which allowed us to completely relax and enjoy all the wonderful bird calls in the mornings. We visited both the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs and they were great. The only issue at all was that the outdoor pool isn't heated and it's early March, but why in the world would you heat an outdoor pool in Florida? We braved the cold water because we couldn't resist the opportunity to swim in that gorgeous grotto-style pool, and again had a blast! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Purple Parrot! We will be back!!

“Wonderful Stay at Peachy Keen” I booked this condo for a side trip for my sister's 40th birthday. Our vacation was for New Orleans with a weekend in Perdido Key. This condo was certainly one of the most pleasant places I have ever stayed. It has all the comforts of home and you can tell the owners take such pride in their vacation home. I could have easily lived here. It is definitely a condo I would consider for future vacations and I will also recommend the Purple Parrot highly to friends and family.

“It was our best family Christmas ever” This was our second stay at the resort. Our first stay was a between house hunt when we lived in Pensacola. We loved it so much we stayed for 4 mounths instead of 4 weeks. This resort home was great for bringing all my family together for Christmas. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back in March. You must check it out!
