“Overall pleasant stay” The room was clean and well furnished-The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a really nice view of the beach from our balcony. I only have 1 negative comment-we were given a long email with check in-out instructions. We missed the part about returning the rubber wrist bands when checking out. The clerk at Perdido Key Resort Management seriously wanted to charge me $10.00 per bracelet because I couldn't find them initially. I mean come on, how hard is it to keep track of rubber bracelets on vacation-especially for the kids! I ended up finding 3 of them but my point is, I gave Perdido Sun Resort better than $1,200.00 and they wanted $10.00 for a bracelet that maybe cost them $0.25/ea. I know it's not much money at all but it's the point of it. They weren't accommodating but were more stuck on "the rules".

“Spring Break” I loved the location of the rental and also liked everything about our condo except for the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable, hard like sleeping on a board. They ready need to invest in purchasing a new mattress. The view and and sound of the gulf coast was worst it all.

“The service was good; liked the view; place was clean, and every” The ladies at the desk were very helpful and those accross the street were also. Being a neophite about electronic gear, it would have been helpful to have directions about using the sound and video equipment. The layout would have been better if the bedroom and living rooms ahd been switched -- got stuffy in the bedroom (lucky you were able to get us a fan)! It would also have been nice to have more than 1 table eith an umbreller at the pool.

“Comfortable” We enjoyed our stay. A few things to work on...bathtub looked like it had not been cleaned, a list of area channels on the TV would be nice (search feature was very slow), may want to protect the code for wifi by laminating it, only had one key (managment office said the lady at the desk at the unit would have another key to give us - not so) There was enough space for my son and a friend to join us. Thanks for the stay.

“Wonderful!!” This condo was very beautiful and relaxing. The beach is right across the street. The pool & lagoon were very nice. We enjoyed taking a trip to Shell Island. (The best and most affordable way is to go through St. Andrews Park). We were happy to find that the condo was very equipped with all the little necessities needed when you are away from home. We will "definitely" be returning next year and hope to use this condo again when we return!!

“Amazing!!!” Upon arrival it felt like we were home. The condo was beautiful and decorated great!!! The views are amazing and all the pictures don't do it justice. The location is perfect, anything you want or need is just around the corner. Solange is very helpful and awesome to work with. We would definitely recommend it to everyone, and hope to stay here next time.

“Forget the beach... Give me life on the river” Kathryn, Ron, Annie, and Gracie couldn't have been more gracious hosts. Kathryn and Ron were so accommodating and Annie and Gracie are my favorite furbabies on the planet. There was so much to enjoy right outside the front door. The river is so relaxing and the entire retreat is so well appointed and still a short drive to the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit, the river, the hammocks, the boat ride, the beautiful night lights, playing with Annie and relaxing with Gracie... The list goes on. Kathryn suggested a visit to Gulf World where she and Ron made sure we were treated like VIP. The shows and exhibits were amazing! And if you're wondering if you should have breakfast... YES! You should. My mom is a very good cook and picky eater and she loved every item on the menu. My mother has always hated bread pudding, but not Kathryn's! It is the best bread pudding you'll ever have. With all of that said; I must say the best part was chatting with Kathryn at breakfast and learning about the history the river holds from the boat ride with Ron. Kathryn and Ron have created a unique experience that you simply can't get anywhere else. State side or abroad- this was my most favorite mini vacation ever and I'm already planning my next visit. I'm home now and I am still feeling rejuvenated and relaxed from my time at Choctaw Lodge Retreat. My only issue is I am hungry because now I have to cook my own breakfast again :(. Tip for future guests: in the master bathroom shower... The big knob at the bottom... Pull it... you're welcome ;)

“Long awaited family vacation” This vacation home had everything thing u need for a Family vacation. There were 9 of us for one week, And we had a wonderful time. Great dinners From the wonderful gas grill. Great seafood Places right in Destin. Great resturants close by The home is decorated perfect for an ocean home!! The weather was sunny, but a little chilly for Swimming in the beautiful pool. The jacuzzi was very Relaxing. I would rent this beautiful vacation home again in a heart beat!!

“Great views, beautiful interior and excellent condo owner!” My son's baseball team was travelling to PCB for their end-of-season tournament and given this was our only vacation for the summer we wanted to make it special. Having been away from the beach for a few years, we wanted to stay someplace right on the beach with great views, and we were not disappointed. This end unit had it all. Huge balcony with dining table and lounge chairs, complete privacy, and an outstanding contempoary interior. We like clean contemporary furnishings and this place was amazing! It still had a "beachy" feel, but it was still a bit modern. Both bedrooms were well appointed. Kitchen has sufficient dishes, cookware and utensils. The only negative experience of staying on the Emerald Isle property was the wait at the elevators on check-in day. This is understandable I guess, but the 45 minutes that it took to get our bags up to the room for checkin was mildly frustrating. But that was where the frustration ended! The rest of the trip was great. Building management was friendly and helpful, as they let us keep some of our luggage in storage for a day after we checked out because of some logistical issues we were experiencing. The owner of the property was VERY responsive and extremely accommodating and friendly. If we go back to PCB, we will absolutely be looking forward to staying at this property again.
