“JUST OUTSTANDING!” The Great Escape River House is just awesome! Held our 1st Family Reunion with 12 adults, and 8 children (2-15/yrs Yes, its very safe for a 2 year old.) 20 fit no problem with plenty of privacy. This place has "riverside atmosphere". Seclusion for your group/barely saw a neighbor. Clean, equipped, supplied... READY FOR OUR ARRIVAL. We used the new fire pit x 2/nights. Everyone loved it. (Smores were good.) "Owned" the private pool morning, afternoon, and night. Hot Tub was very popular too! Basketball... frizbee. Kids flew kites at the beach but we were having so much fun at the House, we didn't spend much time in Biloxi/Gulfport although it offers plenty to see and do. Grilled almost every night. Didn't catch any fish in the river. No animal or varmint problems. No bugs that a couple citronella candles couldn't handle. Grady is there to take out the trash, address anything you think needs attention, and is a phone call away. Ms. Patricia is about as gracious a host as you will ever find... (Great Mississippi Hospitality!) She's comfortable to deal with, and truly works to ensure you enjoy your stay; made our family event a huge success. They are planning an addition to the house for next Summer (Habachi Grill on upper deck.) I'm going to have to come back because I can't believe they can make this experience any better. You can spend 5 digit $ for a Beach House along the Gulf Coast. However, The Great Escape River House will match or exceed that experience, and only cost 4 digit $'s. (Here, you get to spend the difference on yourselves.) One of my Grandchildren summed it up well, "Grampa, we have to do this again!"
