“Modern, Tranquil and a delight to stay here.” We booked to stay at The Loft for our honeymoon in Malta as we had never been to Malta and were looking for an apartment that was for two people. The Loft is a greats size. The entrance to the apartment wa

We stayed for 9 days in Malta and spent a dream holiday in the loft. The interior design was exquisite as the owners are architects and designed everything themselves. The outer areas (sun deck, patio… More

It was a pleasure having you as our guests, when designing the Loft we always kept in mind that we wanted to offer a relaxing and comfortable stay to our guests.
“Superb and so clean” Lovely apartment. So clean, the owners really take pride in this.
The owners are very nice and will give you advice on things to do if you are stuck for things to do in Malta. Everything you need is in the villa. Very quiet at n
The Loft was a lovely place to spend a week relaxing.
Jesabel was very helpful with all our questions before our stay and we booked the in house pick up from the airport as well which all went really smoothly.
The house has only been renovated recently and it has been completed to a very high standard. I loved the little garden and it was a great place to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine (although you might need some mozzie repelent!).
The roof terraces were also great for sunbathing with sun loungers provided.
Generally the loft had everything we needed for our stay and we had a lovely time.
There is a supermarket just across the road along with a bus stop which takes you down to the sea in about 5 minutes and to Valetta (where you can get busses to everywhere else on the island) in about 20-30 minutes.
In terms of local places to eat, there are a few seaside restaurants down the road in Marsaskala which you can walk to in about 20-25 minutes (or get the bus). It is only a small town and not very touristy, but personally this is what I liked about the place.
The loft isn't in the thick of the tourist area, but if you are looking for somewhere quieter and a bit more authentic then I would definitely recommend.
It can take you a while to get to other parts of the island by bus as the traffic is quite bad and most busses go through Valetta so if you are brave enough to drive in Malta, it might make your life a bit easier to hire a car. …
Open Plan apartment ideal for a relaxing stay
Elvira and her family are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way for us, staying up late to meet us after our late flight, getting together a small pack of shopping and Elvira ran us to the pharmacy when needed. They also have a beautiful apartment. It is within walking distance of SmartCity which is great for a meal or a few drinks. A car would definitely be recommended but the apartment is a great place for a base to sightsee from.
Everything was clean and everything was provided for for self-catering. The pool area is a great place to relax. The only thing we would have wanted would be to have stayed for longer!
Thank you Elvira and family. …

Beautiful Holiday Let
The house was very beautiful with such lovely features from the hot tub, decor, style to the lovely outside space.
In the warmer weather it would be the perfect place to stay.
We chose to go in January and it was a very cold week. Sadly the house did not suit the cold weather and we were very cold in the house.
The house was so wonderful and in the hot weather would be fabulous as it would be cool and a pleasure to stay in.
The local people were all so friendly and we had a lovely week with them.
Would love to go back in the warmer weather and enjoy the place at its best. …
