“perfect location” This is the best location for so many things. Located in a gated community made our family feel safe. Having teenage girls, they wanted some freedom, and we felt very comfortable letting them walk the few blocks to the small town of Puerto aventuras where they could grab a lunch, ice cream or just get away from the "old people". Conveniently close to the dolphins, either participating or just watching other people swim with the dolphins. The beach is as pretty as the pictures, and yes,, you are literally steps away from the pool and beach. It has got the be the best unit location in all the condos. As for the unit, everything was top notch: soft bedding, plenty of towels, and extra nice furnishings made for a first class stay. If you like to cook then the kitchen has all you need to make your meals, if you don't want to cook then you are only a few minutes walk to the town where there are some really good restaurants. If I come back to the area, I am staying in this place again. No need to risk trying any new place out when this one has everything we wanted.

“Another Wonderful Stay at Casa Price” We just enjoyed another relaxing week at Casa Price - our second visit in as many years. The house is great for our family, with two small children (4 year old, 6 month old). We were blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed lots of beach time, plenty of naps, and regular walks to 5th avenue. Casa Price is a great home away from home and Rosa once again made our stay extra special.

“Hidden Gem” Almost tempted to write a terrible review so I can keep this place all to myself...but honesty must prevail. Best vacation getaway I have ever experienced. Escape the crowds of Cancun and drive down for amazing fishing and snorkeling in secluded luxury. The caretaker, Mario, caught us some fresh red snapper which we later cooked on the grill. We also spent an amazing day fishing the lagoons with guide Nick Denbow.

“Spendid serenity in dream-like villa by the sea.” Villa Balam Ek is so beautiful, a super location in akumal, a safe secure neighborhood, walking distance to a fine beachfront restaurant. They have wireless so I could stay in touch with business, while I was restoring my body and brain. Love the owners feature one of the finest wastewater garden at the entrance which cleans up all the human sewage from the villa, protecting the water table which is so close to the surface in akumal. Human sewage is the number one cause of excess nutrients impacting coastal waters causing algae blooms and other threats to coral reefs. The owners of Villa Balam Ek care deeply for the environment and support many important efforts to protect the reefs along the Rivera Maya. I could not recommend a finer place to stay and better people to support.

“Awesome!” This Penthouse really is spectacular! It was built and decorated with much love, one can see that in many details. The location is perfect, quiet enough but close enough to the action and a short stroll to the beach. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi on the rooftop with an amazing 360 degree surround view.

“Paradise found!” You're thinking about about booking Pelicanos just based on the reviews and these beautiful pictures? Well imagine it's 100 times more amazing in real life! Everything you need for a vacation truly off the grid! Just returned from a 7 day stay with 5 adults and 1 child. Each suite is unique, private and has everything you could need including a/c for making those hot nights more bearable. The new seating area on the upper deck is perfect for happy hour and games while the fabulous Chucho & Chari prepare the best food of your life! We also really enjoyed a lot of time under the new palapa on the main floor deck when we needed a reprieve from the hot sun. We had all of our dinners prepared for us by Chucho & Chari and the only thing I regret is not having them prepare all of our meals! I don't know how I'll ever eat my own boring guacamole and pico de gallo now! They made it fresh with every dinner! The house was also kept completely spotless by Chucho & Chari and always with a smile. I would return to Pelicanos without hesitation and highly recommend it to any of my friends looking for a truly relaxing away-from-it-all get away.
