This is among the best attractions near the centre of York. York Maze is a fine place to get lost! This is the biggest maze in the UK and one of the world's largest.
It's made from more than one million maize plants and the maize maze is more than 10 times the size of the football pitch at Wembley Stadium. Each year a new maze is planted with a different theme.
And there's more on site than just the maze astounding though that is! After you've enjoyed walking round it, you can experience the other attractions here. There are more than 20 of them, including an obstacle course, a climbing zone, a big inflatable slide and a massive mountain made of hay bales.
There are a two cafés here, or you can bring a picnic. York Maze offers a fantastic day out for all the family. It's open during the Summer Holidays, from mid-July to the beginning of September. York's other attractions, including the Shambles and York Minster, are within easy reach.
