“Wonderful Week” We visit York a lot but this is the first time we have stayed in Sue and John's flat. A lovely comfortable spotless well maintained flat with a great shower great wifi and parking in a central yet quiet location at a reasonable price - what more could anyone need or want?! The "goodies" provided as a welcome were really appreciated as the last thing you want to do after a long drive is go to the supermarket - it was great to be able just to chill on our first night. A really thoughtful touch. Sadly we didn't meet Sue but John welcomed us personally which was nice and all messages / communications were friendly easy and prompt. These owners really do go the extra mile to make sure your whole experience is a positive one - everything went very smoothly. We would without question recommend this flat for an individual traveller or a couple. We will definitely return next year - fingers crossed that the week we need is free!

“Lovely weekend in a beautiful place” Me and my fiancée spent two nights here in February and loved every minute. Beautiful cottage and Margaret was there to meet us when we arrived and was very welcoming and even text to see if we had settled ok. 10minute drive to York park and ride and frankie and bennys and other restaurants. Highly recommend as a short getaway.

“Lovely large property in a very central position.” We will always have fond memories of our stay here as this is where our daughter got ready on her wedding day. A lovely spacious house, centrally located and with it's own parking space ..albeit a bit tight if you have a large vehicle, but we managed. Communication with the owners was good and they couldn't be more helpful. I would definitely stay here again, we had a lovely stay...thank you!

“Excellent Apartment” Warm welcome from Karen (owner), she showed us round and let us know how everything worked. We were given a starter pack which included a few essential groceries i.e milk, butter, cereal,coffee,juice etc. The apartment was spotless and could not find fault. Very well furnished and extremely modern. Beds extremely comfy and we all had the best sleep while we were here. Very spacious. We didn't realise how close it was to the city centre, only a two minute walk over the bridge and you are into the hustle and bustle of York. Lots to do and see and the Jorvick Centre is a must. Parking for apartment was excellent, an assigned space within a locked courtyard. Overall an excellent trip and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Karen and John for making our trip worthwhile as we feel accommodation plays a massive part in your enjoyment of your trip.

“Excellent apartment, perfect location, easy to use appliances, generous welcome pack.” Perfect location, easy walking distance to main attractions (York Minster, Art Gallery, Theatre Royal, Grand Opera House, Castle Museum, Restaurants, Shopping Centre, Supermarkets.) Stunning modern decor with quality bed linen and towels. Every self-catering appliance imaginable (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hob and oven, fridge, sparkling clean cupboards, pans, crockery and cutlery. TV in sitting room and second TV/DVD in bedroom. Garage available if required). Welcome hamper included Cava, fresh tiger loaf, fruit, milk, coffee, sugar, tea. Lynne is the perfect hostess, friendly and helpful. We're so glad we've found this gem of an apartment - we plan to return very soon. Three friends were so impressed they've taken contact details for future reference.

“Perfect house, perfect location!!” We came to York for a hen party with a group of 12. The house was perfect with 6 bedrooms, comfy beds and 3 bathrooms. It is in easy walk (about 10 mins) of the city centre, with handy shops nearby. Lovely big kitchen and double oven made cooking easy for lots of people and it was very well equipped. Would recommend for both large groups and families. Would be lovely to come in the summer to enjoy the garden :)

“Great location, beautiful house” We stayed for 2 nights, wish we could have stayed for more! Lovely clean holiday home, absolutely perfect location, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. A welcome pack of breakfast bits and bobs and wine waiting for us, a very nice touch! Everything you need in the house. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn't use the BBQ or the lovely outdoor area looking over the river. If we return to York we would definitely book again. Highly recommended!!

“Stunning historical Tower in the centre of York” Our three night stay at Lendal Tower was truly memorable. From the moment of booking we were treated as honoured guests and nothing was too much trouble for Nathan and his team. The Tower, which has so much history attached to it, has been sympathetically refurbished to a very high standard and the attention to detail is faultless. The addition of a roof terrace, with stunning views over York, a delightfully little garden and secure parking were a very welcome, and much appreciated, bonus. The Tower's situation is so convenient and is within a few minutes walk of the Minster, The Shambles and a variety of lovely restaurants. There cannot be a better place to stay in York!! We will definitely be back!

“Fantastic house in York” Lovely house, cleaned to perfection, comfortable beds and in a great location with free allocated parking. No grumbles at all about the house. We enjoyed the Railway museum, walking the walls, a boat ride and footgolf. Great meals at Coconut Lagoon, Las Iguanas, Rice Style, Pavement Vaults and Turtle Bay. Tomahawk was a bit of a disappointment. Robinsons and the Italian on the Bishy Road were great for breakfast. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the Pig and Pastry as the queue was out of the door! Would recommend to friends and family.
