“Wonderful week of relaxation” From the start of the booking process to the end of our trip, our experience with Pauline and Mario at Is-Setah was outstanding. Pauline was very responsive to initial inquiries and helpful in answering any questions we had about the property. Just to give an example: when we arrived in Malta, our flight was delayed, and we ended up missing the intended ferry. Mario stayed at the ferry terminal in Gozo personally to make sure we ended up at the right place, even though it was after 1:00 am on Easter Sunday. They were also very helpful when we needed them during the week, as they live quite close to the rental property. The villa itself is very spacious. The common room is large, and with the open-plan stone staircase, feels gigantic - not to mention the great views of the valley out to the sea. The kitchen was well-equipped, although a few more wine glasses would have been appreciated. The entire house was immaculately clean upon our arrival. The terrace area and the pool were wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy the view, and the barbecue grill provided a lot of entertainment. The pool area is especially beautiful at night: very well-lit and warm. The plants were well cared-for. The bedrooms and bathrooms had very high quality furnishings (beds made of real wood, stone bathrooms - this is not IKEA furniture). The architectural details of the house (especially upstairs) really made the place interesting - arches and balconies, a large staircase, the entryway - and we appreciated the attention to detail. The village of Xaghra is really an ideal base from which to visit Gozo. It's minutes away from Victoria, but it feels isolated enough to be "away from it all." The Xaghra village square is within walking distance of this villa, and we thought the restaurants on the square made it worth several return trips. That being said, although it's not strictly necessary, I would recommend a car rental, since nearly any place on the entire island will be accessible to you within 20 minutes. “perfect stay at a perfect location- highly recommended” There is no better place to stay if you like to be in the heart of Gozo. Right in the center with fabulous restaurants and market places in walking distance we enjoyed a week full of sight seeing and "floating" around the Island. Dont forget to hire a small car ( at the owner) to discover all the beautiful places around !The Villa corresponds exactly to the photos advertised and is really charming, comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of space. “Perfect accommodation & location” After staying in Gozo last year in another of Aaron's properties with friends, I couldn't wait to return this year with my partner. The farmhouse boasts a really authentic Gozitan style and offers very Large spacious rooms leaving you with a feeling of 'Times Gone By'. The outside area is spacious and has the benefit of the sun all day. Two smaller balconies upstairs offer far reaching views to the sea and it's well worth setting your alarm to go up and watch the amazing sunrise off the sea. Tal hamrahann is situated a minute walk away from the Bus Stop and well stocked local store with friendly staff. 10/12 minutes walk will find you in the village square with an array of bars and restaurants. An early morning walk here provided you with a Fresh Fish and Butchers and vegetable traders offering locally sourced fresh produce. The local bus takes you a 12 minute ride direct to the beautiful bay of Ramla which is stunning. For any nervous travellers the owner Aaron takes all the pressure from your journey, remaining available throughout by telephone and if required arranging all your transfers from the Airport to the Farmhouse doorstep, along with a nice welcome pack to see you started. Quite simply Perfect! You won't be disappointed
