“Perfect relaxing dog friendly stay.” The cottage was great. Very cosy and comfortable, felt like a home from home. It was all very easy from booking with Colin to Carole greeting us with the key. Carole had wrote us a lovely welcome card, cream tea and scones, heating was on and welcome treats for the dogs. The cottage was very well equipped with tea/coffee, all kitchen utensils, kitchen roll etc, all the little extras like maps books and binoculars etc were a nice touch. Very good wifi. Super quiet and peaceful location. Amazing sea views from the front of the house. You can sit in the lounge and watch the sea. The location was brilliant for us as dog walkers, as it is literally located on the SW Coastal path. We easily walked to both Morte Point and the opposite direction via the hill/valley to Woolacombe beach. Woolacombe beach is one of the best British beaches we have visited. Mortehoe village itself is very quaint, we ate 2 nights running in the Ship Abroad, the food was great. Approx 3 mins walk from the cottage. I would definitely recommend staying in Ada Cottage and Mortehoe.

“A perfect house to enjoy friends company - eat drink and be merry.” This house was the chosen spot for a lovely 30th birthday weekend. Friends met from around the country and we all felt very at home in the beautiful space that this clean contemporary house provides. We had a mixed group with 2 young children under 2. The 3 story dwelling allowed us to put the kids to bed and enjoy the evenings mainly in the kitchen cooking, eating, having some great chats a few games and of course a few glasses of wine. The kitchen/dining room made cooking all meals a real pleasure. The house has a great situation and we walked both days along the coastal path to Woolacombe beach where a few warming games were played in the not so bright weather - which didn't stand in the way of a thoroughly enjoyed weekend. “Excellent location and beautiful house” Our stay at Cromlech house was an absolute delight. The house slept 8 comfortably and had an excellent kitchen diner area as well as a large front room. The house was beautifully furnished and had all the necessary kitchen equipment to cook up a storm. The house is ideally located in the centre of Mortehoe and only a short walk from the beach and local pubs. There’s a small but perfectly stocked deli next door to the house that sells a variety of fresh produce and does a lovely cream tea. All in all our stay at Cromlech was lovely, we will definitely we returning in the near future. I would recommend this house to families and groups of friends looking for a little beach escape.

“Super facilities, great location” We rented both properties together for a group of my husbands friends and they were ideal and very good value when the cost was split between the 11 of them. Good WiFi, and plenty of bathrooms and very big bedrooms mainly- the guys loved the space. The Chichester pub opposite is a treasure and the Ship Aground was fine too. They were out of season so the chippie/takeaway wasn’t open but the local shop was well-stocked with quality produce and bigger shops only a short drive away. They were pretty much snowed in for 2 of the 4 days of their stay but still loved it - and will be back!! Dominic the owner is very easy to deal with and very helpful when we had to change the original dates and the deposit was quickly refunded at the end of the stay. Several golf courses within a short drive plus riding stables for beach riding just 5 minutes away in Woolacombe

“Spotless caravan and walking distance to a beautiful bay.” Margaret and her son were very helpful from the moment we arrived as my son had broke his arm on the journey to our holiday! The caravan was clean and welcoming with its own garden for our dog. A 15 minute walk or 5 min drive to Lee Bay, was just gorgeous to explore at low tide. Our boys enjoyed looking for crabs and caves. Days out to Illfracombe and Woolacombe were also lovely, although very busy. We much preferred local Lee Beach and the Grampus Pub served good food with friendly service. My parents also visited for a couple of days and stayed in Margaret's super B and B in the farmhouse and also had a wonderful time.

“Serenity” Everything was just perfect! This cottage has everything you need, its beautiful location with amazing views, inside the house It’s cosy and beautiful with all the home from home Requirements. The garden was a little bit of paradise, and the owners were the kindest, friendly and fun people whom i felt like I’d known for ages. Can’t wait to go back and Thank you Margaret for making our short stay so memorable. If you get the opportunity, buy some of the farms jam, it’s to die for.
