“Exellent holiday cottage” We spent a wonderful 4 days here in the Peak District. The cottage is absolutely perfect and very well located in a super village with 2 pubs and a small shop. The owner was incredibly helpful - we would definitely stay here again.

“A cosy and comfortable cottage in a peaceful location” We received a friendly greeting from the owners, which made us feel at home immediately and a further welcome awaited us indoors in the form of milk, bread and butter, tea, coffee, home-made cake and even a bottle of wine! The property was clean; the bed firm and comfortable; plenty of storage space; and the kitchen equipped with all the bits and pieces one could wish. Although the secluded garden at the rear was surrounded by hedging, obscuring the view, the owners were very pleased to allow visitors to enter their own garden via a gate and enjoy the view from there. For those wishing to leave the car behind, it was only a short walk to the main village street which was well served by the local bus, giving access to Bakewell and Matlock. We liked everything about the cottage except the sticking stable door to the garden, but this wouldn't stop us coming back to enjoy anothe holiday in this lovely place.

“very relaxing, good bus service, and made welcome by owners” The sceneary was beautifull,very peacefull village with a good bus service to most places, we used our bus passes which saved us on petrol. We were a little dissapointed in the patio aerea which wasnt comfortable.
