“The best weekend of the year” This is a fantastic property located in the picturesque town of Saundersfoot. Spacious, modern, and comfortable. Ideal party house. Stunning views of the coast. This is the second time we have visited Rumours and Cymran, and can't wait to return!

“Fantastic coastal location for this lovely cottage” We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend for Easter and what a wonderful stay we had. The location is amazing - on a small family farm with access to the Pembrokeshire coastal path only 5 minutes away. The owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We also had Easter biscuits, mini eggs and fresh milk to greet us! The cottage is cosy and very well equipped. There is an outside balcony overlooking the breathtaking sea views. The coastal walks in each direction are some of the best we’ve walked and are not strenuous. We would definitely recommend this cottage for an amazing rural retreat but which is only 15 minutes walk to St David’s which has a variety of small shops and restaurants as well as the well known Cathedral.

“Great location, lovely flat - perfect for family” We had a lovely holiday here. Right on the beach and with parking which is handy. The flat is well appointed, clean and great if you have 3 young children like us as they have a triple bunk bed as well as a double bed. Would recommend.

“Weekend trip” Unfortunately directions from petrol station in freshwater east itself weren't too clear as we couldn't find bishops close & felt that the lane entrance was bit further than 400 yards ...... shame the place was bit isolated but on the whole ABSOLUTELY AMAZING accommodation & loved the personal touch stories behind the individual pictures on walls- dog loved the garden

“A great base for coast and country and views from the house to make up for even the worst weather.” We were a mixed group with extended family and friends. Some days we all wanted to do something different. The youngest & the dog wanted to go to the beach and with Newport so close it was perfect - close enough to get back in 10 minutes if you were cold after a swim. The middle age group wanted to cycle and said the routes from the house, along the Gwaun valley and beyond, were perfect. We wanted to stay out of the car and found footpaths directly from Efo'r Grug. The foodies amongst us found restaurants but more importantly fantastic local produce to buy in the village. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped and the garage was great for bikes and wetsuits. We had mixed weather and regretfully not much time for enjoying the terrace but the views from the sitting room were so fantastic that we just enjoyed being there even on the worst of days. We definitely hope to go again maybe earlier in the year to get the best of the view in the long evenings, or winter could be good as the sitting / dining room is so sociable.

“Peaceful country cabin” We really enjoyed our five night stay at Honey Hook Cabin. It is small but well equipped. Its not overlooked at all and was so quiet apart from the noise of our two boys! It is a short drive away from some lovely beaches and a beautiful port called Solva.

“Tranquil location, ideal base from which to explore” I booked Snowdrop Cottage for my birthday, from the moment I booked Marie dealt with correspondence in a prompt and friendly manner. This continued when we arrived and throughout our stay, both Marie and Peter greeted us warmly. Nothing was too much bother, friendly, knowledgeable but never intrusive. The welcome gifts were greatly appreciated, and so were the unexpected birthday gifts. The cottage is an ideal base if you have a car and enjoy peace. You will need a car to reach local shops if you forget anything. Marie kindly asked us if we needed anything when then they went shopping-clearly over and above the expected level. Thank you. Snowdrop cottage is an attractive single storey property, Marie has a good eye for detail. It is charmingly furnished in blues and whites predominantly. If a chillier evening, the oil fired heating soon has the place cosy. The kitchen is well equipt and has everything you would need. The bath has a grab rail for ease of access and an over bath shower, as well as a hand held one. Emergency cotton wool supplies were a nice surprise! There is a night light in the hall which is useful, as are the folders in the lounge which are full of ideas for walks and days out, come rain or shine. A good selection of DVd's and books are on hand if you have time! It's the little touches which make it special: for example the colouring pencils and colour in postcard book. Keep an eye out for these things! Set in their garden, Snowdrop Cottage has it's own private seating area to the side of the house. Delightful. Clearly the cottage and garden are a passion. We hope to return.
