“Everything we wanted from our holiday and more.” Piers and Sue could not have been better hosts - they had thought of everything you might need and even provided a wonderful welcome pack. My husband and I loved the peace and tranquility of the place. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and we relaxed every evening in front of the wood burning stove. Our children (6 & 3) thoroughly enjoyed feeding the pigs, collecting eggs for breakfast, bouncing on the giant trampoline and running around in the fields. The farm is in a lovely setting in the hills and the sea is very close by. It is well situated for exploring a number of places in this stunning region and we can't wait to return. Thank you Piers and Sue for a fantastic holiday.

“Windwhistle” Amazing place. Views to die for and total peace and quite and privacy. Stunning beach when tides go out. Very steep path and steps down to the beach and steep and slippy in the wet to the chalet but great for burning the calories off after eating in the little cafe at the top of the hill. Food in there is amazing. We will be going back for sure.

“Fantastic chalet with an amazing view!” Just got back from my 2nd stay at windwhistle chalet, just as great as the 1st! The chalet is situated in an ideal spot, short walk down to the beach and a nice quiet position on the cliff with an unreal view. The deck is perfect for dining outside and relaxing on a lounge chair and doing a bit of yoga if you fancy it. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfy. Would highly recommend! I went with a group of friends, but the chalet would also suit a family or couple.

“Lovely place” The barn it’s lovely. We stayed here with our two young kids, they loved this place. In good location, 5 min walk to Barrington court, great pub on the corner. Owners were nice, helpful. The barn needs proper spring cleaning! otherwise all good!

“Ideal location for walking, cycling and shopping with a cosy cottage to return to” We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed walking from Fremington Quay along the Tarka Trail to Instow. The Instow Arms had a lovely setting looking out over the beach. The Cafe at Fremington is also worth a visit for the cakes! The cottage itself was warm and cosy - clean - spacious bathrooms. We enjoyed the wonderful pool and sauna area. Returned home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

“Perfect” We love Trevone and Sintra is the perfect place to stay there. The property is immaculate and spacious with modern design. Fabulous sunset views from the upstairs balcony. Just 10 minutes walk from the beach and across the road from the Farm Shop. The downstairs wet room made hosing down two very sandy kids much easier at the end of the day! We loved it!!

“Can't fault it - ideal, peaceful place to relax” A very warm welcome from Piers and Sue, who were most attentive throughout, set the tone. Cotmore Farm is an excellent spot to relax and driving around the area is easy and polite (such a change from Toronto). Plenty to see and do in the area. We stayed in Rose Cottage but saw around the Barn. Both are finished to a very high standard and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. No complaints at all and we'd love to go back.

“A fine, central property - its threshold offers both sanctuary and street life.” From the upstairs window you can practically shake hands with the tree in the square. The next door pub is good. The lounge welcomes socialising and the comfy beds beckon eventually. The owner is smiley and the city offers up most things you could ever want. Bring your friends and enjoy them to the full! The station is just down the road, so you can easily leave your car at home.

“The perfect holiday stay for couples with or without children and their dog” The location is excellent being only a few hundred yards from the most beautiful beach. An orderly and quiet little lane at the top of a short hill leading down to a nice beach hotel and shop. A mile and a half walk across the cliffs brings you to another beautiful beach at Trevone which is not dog friendly during the season whereas Harlyn Bay is. Trevone has a really nice, well stocked beach shop and coffee shop, Both beaches are life-guard controlled. Beautiful old house with good accommodation, always clean on arrival, and with a really nice big front lawn for a dog or children to play
