“A place worth of finding” Firstly, you have to be lucky to find this place. Without GPS we didn't achieve it. But it is worth of finding. This place is amazing for people who want to get rest and spend time in a queit surrounding with really nice neighbours. We were there in September but the weather was wonderfull-over 20 C - perfect for visiting. This place is close to Volterra or San Gimignano. The owner Katia proved herself to be helpful and really nice. One afternoon she made for us a home-made pizza and it was as delicious as we have never ate before. We spent there marvellous time.

“How to chill in the heat” We went to Tuscan Skies after a complicated house move and desperately in need of a break. The apartment is so well equipped and comfortable that we were able to start relaxing immediately. The pool helped too. It is situated in an ideal place as there are local shops for basic necessities a few minutes drive away and not much further is Volterra, a wonderfully interesting and historic hill town. The landscape is rolling and very agricultural: crops were being cut during our stay and the Spar shop in Saline offered locally grown apricots at a snip. We also loved the restaurant in the square at Montecatini; lots of local atmosphere in the evening there too. All in all a brilliant week; wish it had been longer.
