“Weekend away” I went to Wintergreen with my family and friends and we had an incredible time at this lovely house. The house is absolutely stunning, the pictures on the website don't do it justice. The bedrooms are elegant and the living/family area is huge with enough room for everyone in your family/group. The owners of the house have done an incredible job making the house look great and they provide all the amenities you can imagine...so many things that you don't have to pack to bring on a trip. And there is also so much to do at the house - Wii Game; X-Box/Kinect; FoosBall; 100+ movies, board games, a library of books and even toys for children to play with. The house is perfect for a family together, a girl's weekend, a romantic get-away. It's also perfect for 2-3 set of couples, where each couple has their own bedroom and bathroom. I can't imagine a better place to stay as it is in a popular area of the Wintergreen Resort. The house has everything and we can't wait to go back!

“Excellent lodging option in Luray” Perfect cottage for two couples or a family visiting the Luray area. Both bedrooms have plenty of room and are very comfortable (bed + wing chairs), ensuite baths are also both very nice. Kitchen is well stocked and has most everything you would need for preparing meals. Living room is set up as a media room with inexpensive recliners, we opted for the more comfortable chairs in the bedrooms for seating. Outside space (covered and open decks, chairs, table, grill, hot tub) is well done and is an added plus to the house when the weather is nice. Having your morning coffee on the front deck as the sun glitters on the river is a great way to start the day. Our stay at Rock Tavern was on weekdays in April and it was very peaceful, road traffic was minimal. Keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi in the house, and cellular reception can be spotty at times. The one negative is that the heating / A/C unit is right outside the master bedroom's window and can disrupt your sleep as it kicks on and off throughout the night.

“Peaceful” This cabin in Luray, Va was so peaceful. Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Its an older cabin, but we enjoyed our stay. Its just a short drive to town and Luray Caverns

“Great time” We had a great time in this house. First of all, there was not a speck of dirt when we moved in. The house is perfectly situated. 10 mins from Luray, 20 from Shenandoah River Outfitters and 10 from the Thorton Gap. We did a canoeing trip, two greats hikes and a rafting trip all in 4 full days. We could've easily stayed for more. We're looking forward to staying again...

“Great Condo in Williamsburg” Stayed during school vacation week..The wait/line for check in was awful (2 plus hours) There are more sales people than reservation help. But it was worth the wait. Stayed in a 1 bedroom remodeled unit. Everything was very clean. The resort supplied dish soap kitchen sponge, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent. (not commonly supplied by other condo rentals) Great amenities gym, pool, mini golf, tennis, two free arcade rooms, and a small movie theater $2 fee pp.and current movie DVD rentals for $2 per night. The location was so close to Colonial Williamsburg. If you forgot anything there is a K Mart within walking distance.

“We never wanted to leave.” Our family, had a wonderful time. There was lots to do and see. We saw the dam of Smith Mountain Lake and the Dixie Cavens. The home was to are liking and there was more room than we needed. Our boys, didn't want to leave. The best part was more than one bath room.

“A great place to relax yet close enough to everything.” The home is lovely. It is clean and up-to-date. It had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is beautiful, quiet and easy to get to. We were there to visit family and do research and the cabin was the perfect place to come "home" to every evening.
