“Very good” We loved the view from both the lounge and master bedroom, the decking area was a real bonus. The downside of such a view is the steep walk back up to the cottage from the town, after a coastal path walk, the climb back to cottage felt somewhat daunting. Cathy is a lovely host, very friendly contact before our stay and a welcoming bottle of wine on arrival. The cottage has all that is needed for a comfortable stay and very detailed instructions for heating/hot water etc which was very welcomed. Be aware that the steps down to the bedrooms and bathroom are quite steep and fairly narrow, take care carrying cases or children. Car parking can be a bit of a challenge, however we always managed to find a spot on the roadside although mostly a few hundred yards from the cottage, no major problem and for loading/unloading we simply parked immediately opposite just outside of the parking zone with hazards on for a few minutes.. The cottage is old but has been tastefully updated where possible, due to its age and layout there is a limit to what can be changed, however we were very comfortable there and found it to be a great base for our holiday on the island.
