“Romantic revitalizing vacation” My husband and I were celebrating the 40th anniversary of our first date. We were looking for a warm holiday in a private setting . We also love to snorkel and beautiful blue water. This villa exceeded our expectations. It was very private with its own pool. The beach next door was beautiful and the ability to use the grill on the deck was n added bonus on nights we wanted to eat in. The town of Redhook is very close and we took the dollar safari daily and met other travelers as well as friendly locals. The staff at the villas were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend the villa highly. Thank you Laverne for your lovely villa

“Fantastic” If you have never been to St John or are a returning to paradise group you will not find a better villa or location to stay. I travel with my sisters and we love Calicaribe. We have been there twice[ to St John 7 times] and are going back for the third visit in June 2012. It has such beautiful views and a great pool but the best thing is the location. It is very private but so close to town. Everything you need is there. The bedrooms are very comfortable and private. We love Calicaribe because you go to the beach all day or hike the great trails and come back to the villa shower or enjoy the pool and still go back to town in the evening no problem!!! We have stayed at some great places but they are just to long of a drive to do this. We Love Calicaribe and I am sure you will to. We have found where you stay makes a big difference so you will find Calicaribe will make your stay very special. Have a great time... Penny Briggs

“Awesome view!” We had a great stay at Bliss. We loved the view and had everything we needed at the condo. We made great use of the beach chairs, boogie board, noodle and cooler for our long days at the beach. We only used it a couple times but it was nice to also have the option of the pool. Our two best days were sailing with Simplicity Charters and renting a Hobie at Cinnamon Beach. We will definitely be back to St. John.

“You'll Love the Beautiful Taj by-the-Sea” Taj by-the-Sea is a beautiful little palace overlooking the Caribbean Ocean where I've stayed on our annual family vacations for the past several years. It's impossible to get over the view each morning almost forgetting there was a whole Island to sight see. I wake up to a refreshing breeze with a quick & very safe jog to Shoreline Drive and breakfast watching the Princess & Carnival cruise liners come in to dock. The ships sailing in is so calming and relaxing. The afternoons included packing a basket of light snacks and a quaint walk to the beach so close by it was magnificent. I enjoyed watching the fish and sting rays in the clear blue water. The sand was soft and welcoming with such perfect weather. Included on the property is a garden of organic fruits and vegetables. Delicious mangoes, coconuts, soursops, breadfruit and more. We were welcome to enjoy eating and cooking the delectable healthy foods from the garden. After a dreamy day of sightseeing, I can't forget the beautiful skyline lighting up with the lights from the cruise liners. The moon reflecting on the ocean was also unforgettable. I felt like I was at a five star hotel all to ourselves. I highly recommend this Caribbean getaway with spectacular views and more. I will keep coming back. I look forward to bringing my daughter and introducing this exquisite little palace to friends and co-workers via Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. Definitely worth experiencing the Beautiful Taj by-the-Sea.

“Spectacular Stay over Megan's Bay” This villa was ideally located a few minutes from Magen's Bay, and the views were spectacular. We usually search for places that are a little out-of-the way to gain some peacefulness and privacy. This is exactly what you get here. Hard to leave even after 7 days. We enjoyed Megan's Bay beach (which was a very short drive) so much we saw no reason to visit other beaches on St. Thomas. The owners, and property manager were extremely attentive and helpful. We were met at the airport at 9 PM, and accompanied to the house. This was our first visit to USVI, and Villa Sunrose helped make it a great, and memorable experience. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1. the driving in St. Thomas takes some getting used to, and you will have to do a good bit of it if you plan on eating out, taking the ferry at Red Hook, or visiting Charlotte Amalie. 2. The separate guest cottage is wonderful, but does not have its own bathroom. Access through the house or the down the back outdoor stairs to the utility room bathroom is required. My 80 year old dad stayed in this room and really enjoyed it. The pool was well maintained, and our youngest son enjoyed it immensely. There are outdoor living spaces on both sides of the house, so shade is always accessible. The neighborhood is gated, and has an exclusive feel. We enjoyed walks in the morning and evening. We would love to stay here again should we return to the USVI.

“Views out of this world” We enjoyed our stay at Mar de amores, the views are breathtaking, those evenings at the deck will be with us forever, the island life is such a nice experience,so easy going...Dining in town was wonderful and we also loved the beaches, Truk Bay was our favorite one.
