“Romantic revitalizing vacation” My husband and I were celebrating the 40th anniversary of our first date. We were looking for a warm holiday in a private setting . We also love to snorkel and beautiful blue water. This villa exceeded our expectations. It was very private with its own pool. The beach next door was beautiful and the ability to use the grill on the deck was n added bonus on nights we wanted to eat in. The town of Redhook is very close and we took the dollar safari daily and met other travelers as well as friendly locals. The staff at the villas were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would recommend the villa highly. Thank you Laverne for your lovely villa

“Tough winter in St Croix” Have been going to Gentle Winds for almost fifteen years.On a busy day there is at least fifteen [people at the beach/pool.Accommodations are great Place is clean and we have become friends with the owner. Would not come for the last years if everything was not great.St Croix is not your typical Caribbean Island as restaurants are reasonable and there is not much ship traffic. A good place to relax.

“Awesome condo on Sapphire beach” Great condo just a very short walk to beach! Fully stocked with beach towels, ice chest, and everything you need in the kitchen! Wi-Fi and cable tv too!!! Super comfy bed and fantastic view of harbor and ocean. The condos were renovating the restaurant on the premises so didn't get to go there but menu looked great. Instead we went to the bbq truck at the entrance of condo for some of the best brisket you will ever taste! Sparkling clean pools(there are two of them) if you want to take a cool dip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in the east end also super close to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John . I really can't say enough about this place and the owner who was very accommodating to all our needs!!!

“Fantastic” If you have never been to St John or are a returning to paradise group you will not find a better villa or location to stay. I travel with my sisters and we love Calicaribe. We have been there twice[ to St John 7 times] and are going back for the third visit in June 2012. It has such beautiful views and a great pool but the best thing is the location. It is very private but so close to town. Everything you need is there. The bedrooms are very comfortable and private. We love Calicaribe because you go to the beach all day or hike the great trails and come back to the villa shower or enjoy the pool and still go back to town in the evening no problem!!! We have stayed at some great places but they are just to long of a drive to do this. We Love Calicaribe and I am sure you will to. We have found where you stay makes a big difference so you will find Calicaribe will make your stay very special. Have a great time... Penny Briggs

“Awesome view!” We had a great stay at Bliss. We loved the view and had everything we needed at the condo. We made great use of the beach chairs, boogie board, noodle and cooler for our long days at the beach. We only used it a couple times but it was nice to also have the option of the pool. Our two best days were sailing with Simplicity Charters and renting a Hobie at Cinnamon Beach. We will definitely be back to St. John.

“Spectacular Stay over Megan's Bay” This villa was ideally located a few minutes from Magen's Bay, and the views were spectacular. We usually search for places that are a little out-of-the way to gain some peacefulness and privacy. This is exactly what you get here. Hard to leave even after 7 days. We enjoyed Megan's Bay beach (which was a very short drive) so much we saw no reason to visit other beaches on St. Thomas. The owners, and property manager were extremely attentive and helpful. We were met at the airport at 9 PM, and accompanied to the house. This was our first visit to USVI, and Villa Sunrose helped make it a great, and memorable experience. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1. the driving in St. Thomas takes some getting used to, and you will have to do a good bit of it if you plan on eating out, taking the ferry at Red Hook, or visiting Charlotte Amalie. 2. The separate guest cottage is wonderful, but does not have its own bathroom. Access through the house or the down the back outdoor stairs to the utility room bathroom is required. My 80 year old dad stayed in this room and really enjoyed it. The pool was well maintained, and our youngest son enjoyed it immensely. There are outdoor living spaces on both sides of the house, so shade is always accessible. The neighborhood is gated, and has an exclusive feel. We enjoyed walks in the morning and evening. We would love to stay here again should we return to the USVI.

“10 days at a totally awesome villa, with Spectacular Views & Acc” My husband and I have been coming to St. Thomas for 14 years. This is the first-time that we have stayed at TreeTops Villa, and we are looking forward to returning next year. All I can say is -- is it March yet? It was totally awesome waking up each morning with the ocean as our backdrop. Morning coffee on the deck watching the maritime vessels, yachts and cruise ships going by on the ocean with a constant island tropic breeze. On a clear day - you could see the island of St. Croix. As returning visitors - we're pretty self sufficient and know our way around the island. The villa is very clean and spacious, and has everything you'll need - truly all the comforts of home and more. If you're thinking of visiting St. Thomas - then this is the place you'll want to stay at without a doubt! A message to the owner: June, All I can say is I feel I've known you a lifetime! What a way to feel about a person I've met for the first time -- that says a lot in my book. Blake and I had a great time and we can't wait to see you, Steve, buddy and the clan next year -- hopefully our daughter and son-in-law will be able to join us. Oh, by the way - loved the grater (LOL) - found it on our last day :) Keep in touch!

“Easy living and great accomodations” This is our second stay at Elysian Resort. The resort continues to be well maintained. We swam, snorkeled, played tennis and lounged at the clean and quiet beach, and relaxed at the spacious pool. The condo is clean, well furnished and equipped with everything our family needed. The Food Center and Moe's supermarkets are less than a mile away by car or taxi, which is convenient. Sangria's is casual and friendly. We did not eat at the Caribbean Fish Market. We did the New Horizons Day sail and Bad Kitty BVI tour. Both tours well organized and enjoyable.

“Laid Back Vacation Paradise” This was a wonderful vacation. When we got to the condo we found a clean, well stocked home base where we could relax, hang out, and enjoy a tropical drink or two between adventures around the island. It is located on the same property as the resort so it was easy to walk over to ask for assistance or grab a meal when we didn't want an evening out. The residents are friendly and the island small enough to navigate easily. We found some beach yoga classes, did some scuba diving and swimming, and a little shopping and sightseeing as well. All in all, a lovely relaxing vacation. The free wifi was great. All our cell phones had good service on the island except for the one Verizon phone but it was nice to also have the wifi option for the iPad.

“Paradise” We loved Great Expectations so much we returned to it again this year. It is perfect for a group because you have the kitchen/den area, but you can get away because your bedroom is private with your own private bathroom. They have everything you will need in the kitchen. The ice makers are very handy. There is free wireless internet too. The view is breathtaking, but you are still just a short drive to beaches and night life. We will return for our third trip soon!
